First off Tommy, You were only one of a VERY few people who, even though you didn't like them, supported the Sox in '05. The biggest thing EVERYONE on here does agree with, is that Bandwagon fans are the worst. What would it make us Sox fans, if we cheered for the Cubs, just because they are winning??? It would make us Bandwagon fans...

To that, I say congrats to the Cubs for making the playoffs, and enjoy the rest of the season (both games).

he never said to be a band wagon fan. He just said please just shut up so we can have our moment. He didnt say go buy cubs gear and root for them. Reread his post very carefully and you will see that

I'll keep my mouth shut for the most part. I won't root against the cubs, but I won't root for them.

I love how the veterans choked so far and how the new guys with no play off experience are getting on base. Its always fucking amazing how this team can turn an unbeatable streak, show of skill, and just hand over games like this. Ramirez 0-9? Lee 2-8? soriano 2-10? Way to choke guys. Lets hope being in wrigleyville can change this around.

I hate the sox with a passion! But when they made it I said good luck, I hoped they would lose but they didn't and I kept my mouth shut about it(for the most part no need to pull up old posts I know what I said). Why can't sox fans do the same? We are not the greatest team, with the greatest post season record, but damnit they are IN the post season and your at home. Leave it at that.

When the sox went to the playoffs and were swept in the first round all of the cub fans said that it didn't matter that it was just as good as sitting home from the week before. Tastes great doesn't it?

kinda quiet in here now that the cubbies are down to their last game, but i hope they win cause then we'll sell the tix for sundays game.
