A lot of his outs AREN'T from strikeouts, he's hitting the ball, just hitting it to people. He is a WAY better fielder than Machoviak, gets a better read on the ball off the bat, rather than waiting to see where it is going, has a better arm...

sorry bro but u are insane
I don't know.... something needs to happen I know that. I was just talking off of the top of my head. I think just about anything should shake them up a little. Again.... I'm not worried..... YET.

Why?? Just about every point he made was valid. I just figured that his inconsistancy at the plate may outweigh his performance in the field. It's a judgement call. He has been batting better lately though....
I dont see any talent in that kid sorry
He is a HELL of a fielder. I would put him up against almost ANY center fielder on the field. His bat has been unreliable. He started out decent, went into a terrible slump, and has at least been making contact lately. He has potential.... but needs some work at the plate.

And what talent do you see in a Cubs uniform?

The only problem Anderson has had all year, is his batting. But like I said, he hits the ball, unfortunately it is to people. In the field, he shows a lot of promise. He has a great arm, gets a great read off the bat and shows some decent speed in the field.
what talent hmm lemme see

ramirez, Lee, Barret, Zambrano, any others u want me to name?
I'll give you Zambranno and Lee, but what good is Lee on the DL? Same reason I couldn't stand Thomas, for the past 2-3 years. When he was healthy, he was a big help to the team, but he couldn't stay healthy.
this is the first time he has been on the DL in forever!

and who is better than Ramierez? Crede ya right

Dye seems to have a lot of power this year maybe he is drinkin more than orange JUICE in the club house...
Didn't Lee go on the DL at the begining of the year?

If there is so much talent on the Cubs, as you claim, why do they have the 3rd worst record in baseball? And NO, it isn't because "it's the hardest division in baseball".

Claiming Dye is "Juicing"... Talk about stretching to find negative comments.

And yes, IMO, Crede is better than Ramirez. What Ramirez has a lower average, one more home run and a stolen base, so he is better? I think not.
Lee's time on the DL this year is what i was talking about the guy just got off a broken wrist give him a break

hey if all of a sudden a cubs player was having a career year thats the excuse we would hear Smile

Ramirez is a better defenseive player, and just wait he will put up much better numbers than crede by the end of the year

Your guess is as good as mine as why they suck...cubs fan or not that team has alot of talent just cant put it together i dont know why...no it isnt the hardest division in baseball i would say the sox are in it the hardest one...yes i said it....but if they dont make the playoffs whats the use, they can be the world's tallest midget of their division if they dont get the wild card...
So true... There's a certain glory to being the "World Series Champions". The following year, there is glory in being the "Defending Champions". There is no glory in being the team that fell apart after All-star break, and screwed themselves out of a Wild-Card spot AT LEAST.

I gotta add this, just because. Isn't Ramirez the one who "Lost the ball" as it fell on his head? :p:

I know, errors are made, and everyone has that one error they will never live down... Just threw it in for humor.
I hear ya bro I'd like to go up and slap him for that lol hey second place is the first loser right lol

Too bad that the great GM Kenny williams scoffed at the idea of going after Corey Paterson saying we have much better players than him on our roster now. Could you imagine what a five tool player like paterson could do for the Sox, playing in the US cellular "ban-box" he could have 25 home runs already...and what a huge defensive upgrade over anderson. Anderson makes the plays look hard because he takes bad routes and misjudges the ball; Corey makes the plays look easy, like Joe dimagio, he plays the ball so well he looks non chalant.
O ya what a game they played today. A lot of mistakes but in the end they still pulled it out. Go Cubs
Go everyone. I want one big tie.
man i looked at the paper today and the cubs are closer to winning the wild card than the sox are to winning the their division....
how close are we now?
9.5
damn we caught up really fast. It was like less then 2 weeks ago we were over 20
lol only 13.5 in the division
The sox had a bad skid.... and the cubs were actually playing really well. I hope the sox pull out the wild card at least, and it would be cool if the cubs got it too..... I want a cubs vs. sox WS.
uhh... wow. a sox fan that said the cubs were playing well? Thanks for not being a retarded soxs fan dan!

I was waiting to read about how the cubs are lucky blah blah ... Wow, refreshing after how this season has gone.
Like I said.... I will give it to them when they deserve it. They have been playing very well. I'll admit, I even watched a few games because it wasn't sickening. LoL They were playing well before St. Louis and then just beat them like it was nothing and just kept going. The cubs are in a rough spot IMO. They are close to having a real competative team, have a mix of young guys and a few "veterans", but not all of them play well at the same time. 2 guys are good here, 3 guys there...... the last couple weeks showed what happens when they all play well. Injuries honestly don't help either.

The sox on the other hand don't really have an excuse. I would really like to see them take the division, but wild card is being a little more realistic now. They somehow all manage to hit their slumps at te same time and just look pathetic. I think in the end they will be just fine though.....
