I found that I have the HPI spring, but its pretty used, and the ends don't hold their shape very well anymore.

edit: first tank of break in = no stalls, 230F.
Keep in mind that that type of return spring will only work in a situation where the linkage actually pops off. You ideally want a spring that is strong enough to override the throttle servo if you lose signal or Rx pack dies.

the spring had no trouble doing with the collari .30 in the mugen, collari .30 in the CRT, and the OS VZB in the CRT.

edit: Almost finished with break-in. It has been flawless. Motor starts up right away and idles perfect, it hasn't stalled once, and the temps are 220 to 235F.
About time something went right with your arse!!!!!!
I noticed my center rear driveshaft was bent. I'm assuming it was due to chassis flex when ever I hit the trees at the woodridge jumps... which is pretty often. I took that as a hit I needed a z brace.

The picco still gets stuck at TDC, It runs at about 210 to 213F now, i'm still on the first glowplug (OS P7) and its been making more and more power every time I run it. I need to get some heavier diff oils.
Everytime I see this thread come back I cringe!!!!! Atleast you got the z brace now.
Clean that pig!!
Jeez, you are obsessive!

You're not the boss of me. :p:

I cleaned it up a little bit. It will probably get a tear down after the Berwyn Bash.
If I didn't bend the shock shaft at Berwyn, I probably wouldn't have bothered to rebuild my shocks:

Heres what running 1/2 a gallon with a bent shock shaft does:

I also installed my Lunsford titanium turnbuckle kit:

Its not RTR yet, because I need to replace several bearings which I do not have spares of.
Cool. I am just going through my buggy now and cleaning / changing oils. I need to order some plugs, head shim, and some parts that I saw were broken or worn.

The dogbone is the litte pin that goes through the cvd right? I need to order those for my center cvd's. They are pretty worn.

Allright thanks.
Rob, is that crude oil you were using in that shock?

I guess thats what trinity shock oil gets like after... 4+ gallons?
It think it gets like that a lot sooner than 4 gallons!

Nice.

If it makes you feel any better, 2 of the bearings I replaced were a little rough. :p:
