Hey Rob sweet pics. I love the look of those pics with extreme detail involved in them and I now see why you hacked the crap outta ur body because I did it to. I think it just looks better then having it bulge out the way it usually does. Also sweet paint job!

Thanks. My camera is great at close ups, but the quality of regular shots is starting to piss me off.
oh i see, how come all ur pics have the funny yellowish haze?
Lots of good stuff on that truck, looks good. I will donate a new bottle of simple green or 409, now go clean it up. lol.

Buy the way how is the Picco engine?

Setting on the camera. I like it.

lol, It'll be looking clean at the sept. 30th bash before I run it. Don't worry about it.

I have like 5 gallons on it and it still really tight. Makes plenty of power for me. It runs at 245 to 260 on platinum, and 200 to 205 on werks.

I'm happy with it, and I am almost positive I'll be getting another Picco .28 FT after this one is done.
Today just was not my day.

I got my CRT all together, I turn on my radio, nothin comes up on the screen. So I put the venom 2400 batteries in my charger, the light blinks meaning something is wrong... I go get some regular batteries and run my truck. I run 1/2 a tank and my front diff starts popping again. After that, 2 tanks in, I land a 7ft~ jump sideways, and not only to I break a front lower arm, but I snapped the lunsford turnbuckle as well.

time to go buy $200+ in parts again...haha
ouch!
Rob...Trade ya, my buggy for your truggy? huh? huh?! lol

That sucks though.
never did that with my....oh nvm hahahah that sucks
hahaah that sucks
Do the neighbor kids come around when they hear the truck?

"Do something wicked!!!"
yeah, but they are too scared to get close to the truck... I don't blame them lol
How those tires hook up for bashing? Im sure excellent! Sorry you broke the crap outta it. Send that broken lundsford in, they will send you a new one for free
Do you ever bash and not break anything?

lol, just messin.

That sucks.
damn.. that sucks man
So I got my replacements from lunsford, I put in a new pinion in the front diff again (this is #3), run it for a tank... its stripped again. I have one more. If this one goes, I'm selling the CRT.
There has got to be some reason why it keeps stripping out. Just buy a whole diff, and case. Big Grinlol

I'd still have to put it together.
shim it different, you are doing something wrong
Yeah, make sure it's shimmed well. Mike did a thing to mine I wouldn't have thought of; put a shim behind the inner bearing for the pinion gear, so it pushes it towards the diff thus getting better contact.

Mabye you could get some pics of where it stripped at?

Also, make sure the bearings on the diff are not bad. I went through 3-4 diff sets before I realized that the bearings were blown.
So he shimmed behind the bearing??? Interesting.

Stock Revo's must be so underpowered with 2.5R that shimming isn't even a worry. I just rebuilt both my diffs and before I too kthem apart I noted the gear play. It was horribly loose. I was shocked to see the gears were almost like new inside. The small block motor must not stress them enough to make a DIFFerence.

Yep, that's what he did.

If you get something more powerful, I would look into shimming, possibly. I know my 3.3 was blowing diffs alot, but people like Michowski have run their trucks with lots of power, but no probs.
And Mich did say he shimmed his diffs and rebuilt them often.
Musta missed the part about him shimming them. I do remember him saying he rebuilt them every 2 gallons, that's some good work...
