The ends on the rear shocks can wear out pretty quickly. The solution is to stock the ends (can't remember the part # for just the ends of the top of my head) or pick up aluminum ends. http://www.rdracingproducts.com
id hurry up and buy the rd racing ones. Once there out of stock theres no telling if they will ever be back. New owner ship has taken over so nobody knows whats going on over there.
hey all, i have picked up the ext chassis and the center diff and rear brakes. this thing is great off jumps and is even better at the turning. now that i blew a rod outta the 3.3 do i have to re break in the engine? or do a few easy tanks on it.
I don't think you have to rebreak it in, because all that breaking it in does is get the piston and sleeve worn in together. I would just take it easy. Thanks for the info Tune.
Who knows what weight oil is in that little bottle that comes with the Revo?
Talking about the shock oil? I beleive it's around 30w.
yep, shock oil, thanks!
30wt
thanks again Gabe.
still got that steering wheel?
nope, gave it away.
I had no use for it, doesn't fit my futaba.

j/k of course
When I get back from vacation I'll make a point of coming to pick it up some afternoon.
gimme your address and I'll ship it to you from work, heck I could ship it today
ygpm, but you knew that.
FYI... In case anyone is looking for center diffs for Revo, AL's has them in stock along with the Traxxas resonator pipe.
tanks snake
has anyone gotten the center diff and rear brake kit yet?? planning on picking up a set in a few weeks once I get money.

if anyone has gotten it what is your thought on it?

i talked to one guy at the track with the setbacks, 3.3 motor, 3.3 chassis, and then the rear brake and center diff and said the center diff and rear brake kit was a big impact on performance and said his truck handeled soooooo much better.
i have all the above and yes it does a good amount of performance gain. it was abit pricey for the upgrade but worth every penny.
ok, didnt know you had the center diff and rear brake kit on your revo
It will definately help. If you watch the non center diff trucks on the outdoor track they're at a definite disadvantage compared to the trucks w/ center diffs.
John what oil are you running in the center diff?
im running the stock 100k but im gonna pick some 300k up in the near future
you guys with center diff trucks still can't beat me:p: I was on pace for A-main buggy at the last leisure race. Granted it wasn't a huge turnout but I was on pace with slim and MikeL, about 18 seconds behind them after a 5 min qual.
I can't wait until I can hang with the A-main buggy guys. They are quick.
yea i kno tex, i just need to get more practice with a solid setup and quit changing things after each time i go lol
