like 15 to 20 RC on the track, a pit room full of people, and a couple marshalls and people standin around chillin.

It was packed, If I had brought my supermaxx, I wouldn't have run it.

Why not? A little intimidating(sp) with all the good drivers flying right by? I would've drove, but would have went really slow for the first few laps.
Place was packed today! I had to catch 2 rc's flying at me in the air while marshalling. I was able to catch both (not at the same time lol) and toss them right back on the track! I believe one of them was freeride's revo. The other one was a buggy with a white body.

Broke a front diff which I fixed, then broke a servo horn 2 tanks later and I called it a day.

Lots o fun! I can't wait for the first official race there!
I went there and watched some. Looks fun as hell, it was my first time seeing race track. Met FreeRideJunky also and two other guys, aka The Tripple Threat, lol. Now, I can't wait to get my Maxx together and do some running. I went to Al's before going to Leisure today to get CV-RX, but somehow brought a TM home :-\ Now, I need a predator deck and I'll be set.

Ohh yeah, when driving there I missed Vetter or whatever road it's called and went far far to some other street and then to Shweitzer and came up to Chicago Raceway track :\ I was like wtf am I? So, I look at GPS and browse and see that I'm way way off. So, I drive back and had to drive about 1 or 2 miles on the freaking gravel and my grey car turned silver. Then, I passed Vetter and came to Leisure Smile
great place. i had a good time until i broke. a little crowded on the track, but that can be expected on the first day. good to see some people i know.
i'll have to try your directions tex, going 53 is a little out of the way.

When I first got there, I would've ran a tank or 2, but after you left the track started getting really crowded.

What did you break joe?
front left cvd came out of the diff, and i didn't feel like taking the front end apart at the track to fix it.
Huh.... Thats werid... I didnt think they could pop out without somthing breaking
Great time at LH. Track is super dialed.. Can't wait to get out for some racing now !!!!

To the Leisure crew, GREAT F'ING JOB !!!!!!!!!! You guys rock !!!

Good to see familar faces again.
amen!

track is SUPPA dialed.
Amazing... I loved the track. It too kme a little getting used to but by the end I had all but the last turn dialed. Ran a bunch of fuel and only managed to lose body clips and mangle a bidy. I raced around with destroy my revo and revo2k. Awesome tiume. I can't wait to get into racing.

Bernie... great job.

My only complaint is marshalling. It eseems as though not many people wanteds to put down the controller. I was marshalling easily as much as I was running... and at times for up to a half hour by myself...

Don't forget about your receiver Wink
Oh yeah... I tore off the antenna from the stock reciever causing one small runaway. I had another one and will solder the stock one... meh. it happens...
Get that antenna out the back window, not out the roof!
For you guys that where running 1/8th scalers and truggys what kind of tires and setups where you running and testing out?

Oh. It was pretty crowded when I was there. This makes me want to get my truck running and get out there before break is over, but it's not going to happen becuase I need two more things to buy used and no one wants to sell them LOL.
i had some komodos and they had a lot of grip, i would suggest something with smaller pins.
