we will talk......
Ryan,

I like it alot. Still needs some dialing and I have to get the feel for it more. It drives different than the lsp. You can actually drive thru a turn, and there is no push like the lsp. It prolly jumped the same, it felt more planted than my lsp. But the biggest thing was on power turning, mush improved on the CRT
Dace Mfg. CRT Shock Towers

I was going to wait for some king headz towers, but that blue and nickle plating looks nice
mmmmmm...nickle
those towers are quality
Those things look WICKED sweet!!!
I'll hold off untill I break a stock shock tower. Maybe by then King Headz will have towers out to compare with the dace ones.
Damn I forgot about those. Time to call them and get my free ones they owe me.
Man I wish they had some options for shock mounting

King head will be releasing towers soon enough.... Wait for the local company and fellow racers company. Plus KHZ will have the extra 7th hole drilled int he rear towers
the 7th hole is a buggy thing. and fwiw, count the holes on the dace towers also...
72 you are correct, I had a brain fart....
no big deal. both are US companys, so personal pick
Just seen this on the UE forum...

DACE towers all saddled up and the new DACE chassis brace (front only in pic). The rears just went to the annodizer so should be done any time now. The towers are within grams of the stockers so no additional weight and all kinds of benefits including more shock mounting locations for those that wish to run a more laid down shock configuration, 7075 billet construction and available in black, blue or nickel.

that blue looks butt ass ugly, I woud wait for the KHZ stuff
I planned on waiting for the KHZ stuff, but I don't think the blue looks bad at all.
looks too duratrax axis for me lol
blue is a little played out but the nickle plate would be off the chain.

I think you would go blind! Cool

I'd take nickle over blue just for the fact its easier to clean. Just wipe it off and it looks new again.
Michowski Wrote:Mail came and I have a brand new Novarossi plus 5 engine ready to go in my truggy. Does anybody take novarossi's apart and flush them or are they really clean from the factory?

I think it's a good idea to at least take off the rear cap and blast the guts out with nitrowash, etc. I don't know about novarossi engines, but I have had an engine that ran for 10 seconds out of the box, then seized up. Turns out, a peice of flashing from the case managed to make it between the crankshaft's counterweight and the crankcase, wedging the engine stiff.

What can it hurt? I reccomend cleaning out any crap from the engine before break-in. You never know what you'll find in there. Dead fish, sunken logs, etc...
you forgot old, rotten, sunken boots
bass turds
dude i got the engine a long time ago. got over 2 gallons now. I always take apart the engines when new to clean them just in case. Doesnt hurt to take an extra 5 minutes to clean it out and reoil it.

hey guys
i recently raced out at leisure for my first time, i am from AZ visisting my brother and i thought i would get into some of the threads out here since i come out here every summer to visit him and i am wondering whats a good set upto use on the jammin, i race back home in AZ every weekend and right now i have a MR. ninja b01 .21 enigne, JP3 pipe, wondering what is a good engine for the truck, since i got the engine and broke it in, its been a pain for me, when we were at the track my engine wasnt oppening up, there wasnt much of a top end and everything we were doing to tune it and try to get it better just wasnt working we had about 16 tanks on it, so its way over break in. if someone could maybe give me some help i would apreciate it. also what are you guys using for servos, what would be the best servo for the truck?
