spektrum does glitch. Finally spend another 200 dollars to get rid of the cheap clutch and get a nice pipe and bam, a run away with my spektrum. I will say one thing tho, Mugen clutch f'in rules. It just took off so fast I didnt even have time to react untill i already heard crack. Bent shock shaft, broke lower a-arm, and turnbuckle.

Yikes!! Scary stuff i remeber when i had a run away with my LSP that had a 528 in it. OMG did that thing take off thanks to TEX who saved my engine!! Smile
how did it glitch. Where did you did you set your fail safe at?
seems like either the RX pack died or it came unplugged? maybe the on/off switch died?
Do you have on button downward and off upward?
Battery pack was freshly charged, brand new switch in there with the off on the bottom. Failsafe was set at neutral but I just switched it to have the brakes on about 50%. I was just doing some small circles in the yard to get it warmed up, I turned it around to come back towards me and it just took off. Went under my truck and clipped the back tire, spun about 5 times and just sat there at an idle with full radio control. I tried to hit the brakes but it just kept reving up and took off. I have no idea why it glitched but now everything seems to be working good. The only change I made from the last tiem I ran was shortened the antenna tube and wrapped the wire around the tube a lot and maybe that had something to do with it. Not sure. Total time I had no control was probly like 3-4 seconds before it all came back.
did you cut the antenna wire any?
nope
that just seems so weird to me, not saying that it couldn't happen but I've had mine for over a year now and never noticed any glitching with my systems. Sorry to hear about you bad luck Michowski and for your truck
first time it ever glitched and now it seems to be working just fine again.
you want your switch so that ON is down, this way if it ever gets bump or gravity takes affect it will go to on, instead of off.
Ryan are you sure your carb just didnt stick open. I have heard of some novarossi carbs sticking when fat on the low end.

Also It is very important to MAke sure your carb is wide open when adjusting your idle screw also. I think Rocco or JOhn had carb hang ups when they adjusted with the carb closed.
man that poor jammin....is that something u are looking forward to george??? JK JK lol guys Wink
no I am sticking with the lsp Mike

I am thinking it was mor ecarb stick than radio glitch
Ya thats what i would assume as well, however do u know if u had any steering control, Im sure u dont remember as that is such a scary moment lol
hmmm not sure George. Not sure what you mean by adjusting the idle screw with the carb wide open.

Sry I was to busy crying like a little girl to see if I had steering or not. I dont think I would of had steering because the f'in tires just ballooned up and came off the ground. It was the coolest thing ever to watch untill it crashed
when u set ur idle, hole the throttle open if u dont u can put a large burr on it from the screw turning
O ok. Well i definatly adjusted it when it was closed a few times. Il make a not of that now.

The carb need to be open all the way (aka Full throttle) when adjusting the idle screw.
To be safe pull your carb off your engine and make sure it is all smooth.

Also you are sure your throttle servo didnt hang up
im positive the throttle servo didnt hang up. I know I was making fine adjustments with the linkage about 2 runs ago and the last tank went perfectly fine. Even checked after the crash and everything was smooth and working good. It could possibly be the carb sticking then.
