who won MT?
Tex then Tune....some other people and then me in 5th and John(destroymyrevo15) in 6th.
So how many people ran MT??
6 j/k

I didn't go.
there was a A and B main in SMT. I took 1st and this dude Russ took 2nd and Tune was 3 laps or so behind Russ and took 3rd. I was gunna keep the sheet and post it here but figured I'd just leave it at LHR.

There was about 15 SMT guys out there.

ORC, there was no Hellfires lapping Sonny, someone got that bent all out of shape...lol
Yeah, that didn't sound right.
That one guy, who I've never seen before, at the track (I think they called him Mondo?) had me laughing Sunday. He practically sold Matt's buggy for him Smile
They call him Honda!
It would be cool if there was a "Leisure Hours Webcam" with views of the track and the pit areas. I know they're in the middle of nowhere, and it's possible that a highspeed internet connection may not be available; but if it is, we can all agree here that it would indeed be cool.
Indeed !
once i get a good video camera im gonna be recording every main for the big events at leisure. Il be putting them on dvd for 5 bucks a copy provided Bernie allows me to record the races. I just wanna put it in one spot were we can see the whole track so nobody has to be behind the camera incase there racing or something.
Good idea Mich....You might be able to put it up where the announcer sits if they permit...That would provide a good all-around view of the track I think....
I will be there 2/12 for my first race, that is if I have the $15. Any tips that i should know?
Take it easy through qualifying. Get around the track slowly is better than getting around it on your roof. Plus get your motor tuned well...

Should we start a thread of who will be there?? I will...
I don't know how to tune the motor yet lol

Mike, go to the General RC forum, the first few threads there are general track/racing/etc threads that are VERY HELPFUL info to read before going there for a race day. If you read through it, the process will be a breeze on race day. If you don't read it, have Dan or someone else guide you through the day. It moves fast and you have to pay attention. Without prior understanding of what's going on, it will feel hectic and confusing. Read the threads and you will feel like you've got a handle on what to expect.
awesome thanks
Considering the smoke last Sunday I can see the DVD being an hour looking through a fog Smile
Put a uv haze filter on the camera.....Big Grin sorry, lame photog joke.....

and it is worse up high, yes?

Yeah it definately gets alittle thick in there with alot of trucks going around. I got alittle light-headed towards the end of practice.

You can try a UV filter, I think all it will do is cut your light down further. I would try keying off the overhead lights and set them as your white balance. It'll warm up the frames and have less of a cold look. Knowing what bulbs are up there would help with figuring exposure and color balance.
Locking this thread as LH now has it's own forum. Keeping this thread for searching purposes and whatnot.

Thanks for understanding.
