You won't have much time this coming Sunday Big Grin
Carpet track opens Weds! How did that look Sunday?
It's on the other side of the non-smoking pit area. Just carpet was all I saw.
That means, Nitro Practice Thurs, Fri and half of Sat.... 8^(
Combine that with nitro racing Sunday, and you can be at the track 4 days out of 7.....and I guess that means all practice times for nitro are during Open practice.

I'm sure they will still have Nitro on Wednesday. The 1/18th is seperated from the main track...
Chris

The LH website says no Nitro practice on wednesdays anymore starting 2/1
Cut and paste from LHR site:
___________________________________________

Wednesday - 1/18 Scale Micro Car and Truck Racing
Practice starting Wednesday, February 1, 2006
1st Race will be Wednesday, February 8, 2006

Ozite Carpet Track - 18'x40'
Regular Fees Apply

** Please Note Nitro Practice on Wednesday will be no longer after February 1, 2006 **
It would be nice if they would combine 1/18th and Nitro on Sunday but I imagine that would mean two computer systems going at the same time.
Sundays are way too crowded, plus you would have freq issues.

RCDAD you where there yesterday, imagine in the pit area if they where trying to race mini's.

Wednesday is a good night for it. I liked practicing on wednesdays, but I will liek practicing on Thursday Now LOL
STARTING Feb 1st, or AFTER feb 1st??? There is a big defference there. I was planning on Meeting Brian there on Wed, But if there is no Nitro, It won't be worth the trip.
Kinda reads like 2/1 is the last nitro practice......
So there is or isn't nitro practice on Wednesday? I was going to go and practice on wed.
Nevermind- I just saw this on LHR's website.

Wednesday:
Nitro Practice & 1/18 Micro Practice
5:30 pm - 10:30 pm

So it likes they'll be running both.
pop, wanna get that amb anytime?

Once I get the revo back on the track I would really like some help to make sure I have it spot on.

As for the discussion on grooves on tracks... at the end of the trophy race you could see the blue groove perfectly. The thing is that they work the track over so much that it never stays around long. LH is an amazing track and looks so much easier to run than some of the dry dusty looking tracks I have seen in videos...

Are you going to leisure on Wednesday by any chance? I could get it from you then if you'll be there. I apologize for the delay in getting it from you I have had some work related problems as of late.
Racing was fun yesterday. Had some issues in 2 of the qualifiers and during the main.

Sorry, SuperSunday will be our next time there, most likely. If you want to make a short side trip on your way out there Weds, I can meet you off I-355 at 75th Street, if you go that route.

No pressure really, I just saw you were getting active with racing down there and figured you would want to get away from the loaner rack.

Just lemme know!
I'll be there racing on superbowl sunday, we should all be home by the time the game starts. (or shortly there after)
I need a week off to rebuild my turd and fix my lsp
I'll be there on sunday too. I'm only going to race the hellfire though. I needed to devote alot of pit time to that truck to get it dialed in. I'm a noob when it comes to setting up 1/8 scale based stuff.

The revo is having some really wierd motor issues. I think I'm leaving it at home for next weekend. It just cuts out when I give it throttle. It'll just keep on doing it for a few minutes, then out of nowhere it runs fine. Very weird. Six was there and he was as confused as I was!
pinch the sleeve and replace the rod.
Problem is that the pinch is still real good.
yeah... Is that when the engine is cold??? I had an engine like that had the same problem. Dude its worth a shot a pinch is like 20 bucks and how much could a rod be 40 or 50 bucks?? Its worth a shot instead of a DNF...
