anyone else? mugen prospec or 8ight-t?
03-11-2007, 08:03 PM
now i am actually thinking mugenlol. I didint like kits at first but afetr i built my 8ight i really want to build another kit. I guess a kit will help pass time while im saving up for an engine and servos. o and another reciever.

This is the mugen thread, what answer do you think your going to get?. I am hoping to be able to drive both of them and see which one I like better.

All you have to do is just pay attention to what your doing and it will go nice and smooth. The problems come when you rush or dont double check your work.
Just remember to sand the diff cups first. Make sure they sit flush on a table or something that is level.

sand where at exactly?

motoxer4life Wrote:sand where at exactly? sand the top of the diff cup, where the gaskets lay, then it screws/flushes with the ring gear or spur gear if talking in reference to center diff

o ok thats if i decide to go with the mugen. Im deciding cause the 8ight's can kinda share parts but the mugen had alot more upgrades and stuff. I also wanna uild th kit so idk.
03-12-2007, 04:23 PM
if you get the prospec, there is nothing left to upgrade
03-12-2007, 04:34 PM
if i get the mugen i will definitely get the prospec
03-12-2007, 04:44 PM
The MBX's share parts also.
Yes,if you go prospec, you dont need to worry about upgrading parts. But the box stock does well too. Just add the rear alum. carriers and your set.
