Thank you for the warm welcome.
My brother has a practice over in N Joliet... so I am sure to drive over some weekend and check you guys out! LHS just looks off the hook!
That link for Hardesty's RC Raceway is defunked... and I have been searching for it as well. No lucky  However thanks for posting it Snakebite.
That track in LaPorte has some really crazy hours... I had see that place a couple of months ago... and can never make it when they have track hours. I don't think they are too hard core?

OR if you want to see who is going to be at the track on a given date, check or start a thread at Bernie's board. There's a thread over there right now for Sunday 1/22....

Slim,
No offense was taken but..... Tune has worked on ChitownRC V2.0 for over 40 hrs already and it's only 1/4 done. Try doing that and working a full time regular job (where you can't sit on the 'puter all day like me and you).
Yes he could add a forum on this site in a matter of minutes but I think more of his concentration is on V2.0 right now.
S-Grid has a "OH/IL/WI/MI/IN" section so all the main tracks in those areas have to share ONE THREAD and it seems to work just fine. But over here people have problems using one thread for ONE TRACK???????

I don't think Hardesty's went anywhere. Seemed like a decently successfull track beside the point it's in the middle of BFE

Patience people, patience. I'm currently 50hrs into development of V2.0. There's alot of stuff I'd like to update and I'd like to do update everything at once. The site will have a new look, new features, the forums will be rearranged to address the concerns of the members.
I've been trying to keep a lid on things, but I feel now that some sort of update is required. I'd hate to think that people stop using the board because they might feel their concerns go unnoticed. This board has grown WAY past what I expected in a very short amount of time, and we are experiencing growing pains. Please remember, I work at a full-time job in which I don't sit in front of the computer, plus living a normal life, plus trying to upkeep my rc's so I can race regularly.
Thanks for understanding,
John D

I didn't mean to imply they were closed. Just the web site. I can't wait to check both places out.
The Bernie's board... is there is link for it?
Thanks again!

If you dont want to sift through hundreds of posts then dont post up anything that doesnt have to do with the topic . Now since this thread has been cluttered and bruised enough lets get back on topic here.
Im gonna talk with tex and see if we can get some of this cleared up.

The farthest that the "Friday at LH" Thread went off Topic, was Rich asking how busy Fridays are, because he needs to break in an engine. Other than that, It was just people saying that they would be there. The Post by Satoch (Which had Absolutely nothing to do with anything but "The benefits of living in the City" were actually posted in the Thursday at LH Thread, which was also merged here.

Does Scott go to the track/hang out there and see how everything goes? Don't know who he is, but I know Bernie.

OK guys due to complaints i deleted alot post ( many of my own) . Quite frankly there are alot more that need to go but right now my dsl isnt working so im on dial up so i will do more at a later date if it is felt it is needed . Lets keep this thread as close to the topic as possible. That way people just visting the site or that are new to racing can get just the info.
Thankyou guys

Haha... I think the rest was me antagonizing rocco. My apologies...
As for racing I should be there on Sunday. I am still going to be on stock tires but since they hooked up fairly well I am not worried... I fixed steering first, the motor and tires will be following...
About how many usually show up on Sunday to race???

Electrics are raced on Saterdays at 5 PM. Thier practice starts at 3:30. And I do think they run a stock class. Check the forums on the LH site. Here you go.

I was just curious, I saw like whole families walking around today looking at trucks. At one point I put my Savage on the end of the table so people could see it better. Are they just coming in at random? I can't imagine people would find that place unless they knew it existed.
I bet LHR could sell RTR's there for those who just come in and want to race.
