Hahahah.... his 1.6 doesn't have stock internals. Far from actually. Mine will have far less work done to it though, and running less PSI. His motor is pretty much fully built. He has it tuned at 350 HP as a daily driver. He could crank it up a little bit more but then it loses daily driveability.

Plus.... have it run high 12's low 13's?? Exactly. I think it is fine for a campus car. One of my buddys has a civic putting down over 350 at the wheels. He will help me with the turbo kit.....
A volkswagen with a vr6. The vr6 motor stock is 10 times stronger than any honda motor stock. Any stock honda motor can hold up to a 8 psi, 10 if you want to really push it, i mean really.and on stock internal ,let say with a civic SI (170hp stock)and maybe 8 psi your looking at maybe only 230hp 250 maybe with an intercooler. A stock vr6 has been known to push almost 13 to 14 and in a rare case 16psi on stock internals. plus the the vr6 is a great canidate for bi turbo (twin turbo). Dont get me wrong i love honda/acura, i drive a '00 GS-R, but my dream is to have a bi turbo vr6 jetta, or better yet.. a bi moto audi tt:crazy:

Yes and no. (An I own a VW.) The VR-6 is a nice motor but I guarantee you cannot build one of those for $2000. I was/am just looking for cheap/fun here.

Rocco, the cars I named earlier had a good amount of work done too. I am not talking stock races here. Every car I have seen him race has been putting down 350 hp easy. He knows how to drive his car and it is light as hell.

I love muscle cars.... but I can't afford them yet. So for now I play with imports. Not RICE, imports. The day you can call me a ricer is the day my car does nothing but make weird noises, have huge rims, and sick vinyls.

Czech, get with the program. GTO's are 6.0's now and IMO still a disgrace to the original. And though it may not sound badass saying you have a fast civic, seeing the look on the bimbo's face in the passenger seat of the vette after getting beat by a civic is PRICELESS!
