man that's some butt ugly web design

sorry, but I had to mention it.

kinda difficult to determine what's going on.

Their in the middle of a redesign over there. Looked pretty good before. So we'll see what the finished product will look like it's done.

I had back-ups when I went to rnd2. Didnt use them, but they were in my bag.

Since I guess I would be much closer to a budget racer than a full on racer... how close are the back up motors to race motors usually?? For example if I were running an EB modded OS .18 TM would most people have another TM as a backup or would I be able to survive with a 2.5 if I needed to?? Just kind of curious wht kind of motors dominate the MT class... (And if I change motors on the Revo that puts me in the unlimited class right??)

the only way to seperate mt's from truggies is the center diff. Engine size has nothing to do with seperating the classes. Your gonna see a mix of both for back up engines. Most engine are whatever the person can afford.

Ok... so in the MT class you can run as much motor as you can handle. And michowski I know you and several others run the TM. Is that pretty much the popular race motor?? And what else are other people being successful running??

need a starter box (same with the p5), and a header... most likely need to do something with the crank. I don't know, I don't own a revo.

I'd go with the P5 if you can handle the power.

it's not what motor you have, it's how good of a driver you are. I would personally keep the 2.5 strapped in until you learn to handle the track better(not saying your bad, you know what I mean). Then once you can harness that power, move to a bigger motor.

Actually bigger motors make your laptimes worse when your not a good driver. Too much power just tosses you all over the place.

I understand that. I will be running the 2.5 at the track for a while... at least untill I am turning consistant laps (woohoo new amb). I am just kind of doing my research ahead of time to see what avenue I should go down. This way if a deal comes along I can snatch it up instead of having to wait when I am ready for a bigger motor...
