That's a good deal. Hopefully they are glued up good and cut right, It'd suck if they were all off balance. I'm sure they would be a great tire for the new indoor at Leisure. I guess you'll have to just check them out after the place opens. Smile

I had a couple of sets of responses on wabashes that i narrowed. I really like the tire for its grip and for how little rotating mass there was.. I didnt like the quick tread wear or the tendency for the tire to literally explode. I lost 2 that way...
I still liked them, but went to pythons. I perfer the weight penality for somthing that is as durable and long lasting as the panthers

I ran Responses at LH last year and I really liked them. They had the perfect amount of traction for the LH dirt.

Hot Bodies Stadium tires with some firm foams were the ticket at Leisure when the track was moist.

I like the Response tires too. The worked good for me at Lesiure too.

Outdoors, I like Bow-ties the most. then response.

Ya but the only thing is they wear out after 2 races then you have to get new one's. I ran mine until there was a big whole in the tire.

Yeah I hear ya on the wear thing. But, they are some damn good tires !!!

Yeah Responses wear fast outdoors and don't work as well, but indoor they last OK. It costs money to go fast. Just the way it is.

It shouldnt cost ya 60 bucks in tires every few races though IMO....

Snake- i just mounted up my HB tires with a WHOLE green foam in them!!!! They are gonna soooooo be the SHizzzzz on indoor tracks!!!! Those lil threads wont have a choice but to bite now!!!!

I used an 1/8th scale foam in the middle of mine. Then used the RE foams. Dialed!!!

I'm using the stock soft foams in mine. They are softer than a baby butt. Do those not hook well indoors? Or do they just make the truck feel loose?

Since the tread is only in the center of the hb tire i think ya need a firm azz foam to keep the tread the contact patch not the sidewall.. But who knows tex. I remember you hookin up like a mutha at LH with traxxas sportmaxx tires with like no foam left in them! LOL!!! remember on your tmaxx?!!!

I was thinking
standard size sporttraxx tire
40series RacersEdge foams
Wabash trimmed

I bet that would hook

My tire of choice at Leisure's old track was the Hot Bodies tires trimmed to fit on Revo Hurricane wheels with Proline standard size firm foams.
I think my truck was hooked up pretty good last season Smile

I also have a set of Response tires mounted on Hurricane wheels.....IMO, they did not hook up as good as the HB tires did on Leisure's track.
I also tried the Response's outdoors, and found that Standard Bowties work much better. So......I havent used them much, but yet they still look worn out
