Maybe try and help the guy out!!!!!! BY answering his questions and giving advice, not crush his dreams and excitement of his new sportmax. There are alot of people that are just in this for fun, they dont have to win all the time. Alot are in this hobby to make friends and enjoy the hobby. I for one have more fun in the pits talking **** with the other racers alot I consider friends now. YOu figure on a typical big race, you maybe are on the track 45 minutes or so ((3) 5 min quals, and a 30min a main (if your lucky)) and you might be at the tracj 12-14 hours. So most of that time is enjoying the hobby and talking with fellow racers. It would be a long 12-14 hours if you had no friends to talk to not to mention the train ride there and back.
SO maybe you should think about that before telling some guy his stuff is crap, and just offer some help. Also the guy might be like 15 or so and has a limited budget not all of us have such a famous past and have infinite dollars.
SO in closing, To Rond3L enjoy your sportmaxx, upgrade when something breaks and budget allows, but most of all enjoy the hobby and make a few friends. Thats the approach I took, and I love this hobby and have made alot of friends. If you ask me thats better than a bowling trophy for racing toy cars anyday

I think being 16 and soon 17 I have a lot of money, but the thing is I spend it so damn fast. Between buying stuff to the car (spoilers, wheels, etc), car payments, and buying R/C stuff I don't have much left usually...
