Justin said he finally got the Savage together and the maxx finally started. 
Cousingrandpa said he wil be out for sure . 
I had to get him a one way bearing while I was at Al's yesterday. It was like he knew I was there cause my cellphone rang 5 minutes after I walked into Al's.
So, now I know he will show up for shure.
I think Rusty is gonna be there.
So we should have a good turn out if everybody else shows.:joy:

Anybody want a set of t-maxx rims (black) 5 spokes with MT tread on them?
They work great on grass and dirt,clay (ok on pavement)
I'm also getting rid of the MGT tires that were on the white savage in the pics from last Sunday.
They will make your truck taller and ride smoother without wheel hop at high speed! both are 14 mm hex size.
I will bring both sets to the bash if anyone wants them let me know.
I have way to many sets of rims and tires and need to get rid of a couple.

ok i have this sunday off, my mini quake cvds on are their way and ill be picking up fuel in a day or two. and i got the go ahead from the wife and mo-in-law to not work on the condos that day! so minus my job getting hit by lightning im in!

Fix the Tmaxx, break the Tmaxx, fix the Tmaxx break the Tmaxx.
Its all the stupid driveshaft's fault too. Stupid plastic traxxas crap.
Had a half tank, installed UE center shafts after replacing trans case. 2 minutes later my Tmaxx is front wheel drive only. The rear passenger drive cup broke. Grrr.......

Its an OS .18CV-RX. Shouldn't be enough to break the plastic stuff as it does. Only thing I can think of is that the plastic is old and fatigued. I can't remember if that was one of the parts that I replaced before. Oh well, it isn't hard and I do have a spare halfshaft laying around.
I'll order UE stuff with my next paycheck so I can stop these annoying things.

My maxx drivetrain was a headache from day one when I put an 18 cv-r in there. First I got UE 8mm steel CVDs, then I was killing diffs all the time even with aluminum cases and cups, then I was twisting centers as well, so I bought UE titanium centers, and UE 8 spider diffs, then I started snapping the ends off of forward only shafts. Duratrax header, traxxas blue tuned pipe, platinium 30% fuel.

I can't see the 18 CVRX being that much stronger than a 3.3. In fact, from what I've read the CVRX is about on par with a 2.5R or mabye a bit better, but less than a 3.3.
I can't see a reason why it would snap everything except for fatigue on the stock plastic parts that haven't been replaced yet..
I'm a basher by nature.
Either way we should probably stop spamming the thread. I'll make another thread if crap continues with the Tmaxx

Got a Air Filter for the flying Jato, who knows maybe I'll even find my old one tomorow.
Tmaxx is front wheel drive only right now. :mad: Twisted the rear driveshafts last night when I hit it. That'll teach me to tighten the slipper clutch and try to do wheelies with plastic driveshafts. I could ofcourse swap the front for the rear and make it rear wheel drive only, but its really hard to control then.
Kinda got the OB4 Nitro running, but I have some severe fuel leaks from the carb or supply nipple on the carb. Don't feel like fixing it yet. Rich as hell.
And I lost my fuel bottle rubber stopper. :mad: :mad: :mad: Gonna go find it now.

Supposed to be hot again, 91*, though less humidity at 35% or so. Chance of rain......again....
If anyone has a real video camera that would be cool. I have one, but the battery is dead and won't take a charge. So a converter + extension cord might be workable.

Sweet, tunes would be good, specially since we don't want to run the batteries down on the car. That would be bad.
I cleaned up the buggy after fixing it today. Gave the wheels a good scrub, some nitro blaster for the chassis, took the pipe off and gave it a good scrub too. And I also washed the body looks almost like it came out of the box. I got tired of the high temps and enlarged the holes in the buggy body for more airflow since I had to run pretty rich to keep the temps below 270.

uggh.. not lookin good for the bash. There are some serious storms on the way that will hit aorund noon. hopfully it clears up and dries out after that.

Bash video! BTW, Quicktime Pro SUCKS at movie authoring. No way to fad video or audio, its plain crappy. But its the only thing I have that will edit .MOV files on my PC.

Can anyone find anyone who can (donate) and print up big waterproof banners?
It can be of any windproof waterproof material.
Lexan with vinyl lettering? Vinyl banners with printing on them?
I want to hang them from the sunshelter canopy while we are out there.
If so we need one of each for both sites.

I'm also working on getting AL's Hobbyshop in Elmhurst to sponsor our get togethers every Sunday.
Which will mean better discounts on parts for those who sign up on the two sites and come out to the meetings every Sunday.
We will have to get them to do a code thing to assure you were at the meeting to get the discounts.
This will probably take a little time to get all this together.
So bare with me until I confirm we have them on board.
I will also try to get AL's to make a banner with their name on it to hang as well if they do decide to sponsor us.
I will also be trying to get us some other activities to show off the trucks at such as festivals parades and such.
This will all take time to get this rolling.
But we all like to show off our skills and our RC's and what better places then these and others.
Team RCMX 's Home in Nebraska is already doing some of this stuff and I am working closlely with the site owner On bringing some of this fun to our area.
He does Monster Jam Shows,Parades and so forth out there already.And is willing to help get it going with me out here.
Let me know what you guys can help with.
