I already cad'd that up 2 weeks or so ago. 2 sections 4' wide x 20' long with a walking path down the middle with the ability to connect the 2 with bridges.

I 've been real life rock crawling in the past several times with friends at the badlands in ind. and lbl kentucky and I have to admit this axial crawler is incredibly life like the way it manuevers over large objects and climbs steep grades while doing so. Very cool.
When is L.H. going to get a friggin indoor or outdoor course for the new crawler craze? i heard there was talk about it.

Lol, make the smokers pits a BIG Crawling course

I think thats a good idea, since the Carpet track is now pits.

Run it by Bernie next time you're there or Scott or Dennis or something.
LSP lots of Khz, Werks .28 8 port.

I talked to Bernie a week ago about building an outside course and he's all for it, has a bunch of rock and will help with the runoff water from the 2 outside tracks! I said something about an indoor course and he asked how much room we'd need? Ponch you need to ask him about an indoor deal? He likes you better! lol Confusedmash:

...theres food in the shop, that'd be a great place for an indoor crawler course. like, the back wall. I know its gonna be for concessions but that'd be a be the best place for a year round crawler course.

Thanks guys...

I still have to find out what I'm doing with this dig now, it's hitting the chassis and not allowing full flex.

After the initial meeting of SCRC, I learned that my AX10 was lacking some basic functions like a DIG, tighter steering, and better ground clearance.....as well as lowering the CG.

So this week I aimed to address those items, and I just finished the work. Here are the pics.

How did you improve the steering other than the dig?

To IMPROVE STEERING I did:

1. Took the larger steering rod off, and replaced the ends with angled ends to push the rod about 1/8" further from the axle.

2. Slightly counter sunk the c-hub screws on hte front side.

I think that i got most improvement from the moving of the larger steering rod. I can now chase the dogs around with far fewer 3-point turns in the family room.
