diff build.....
http://www.unlimitedengineering.com/foru...hp?t=19076

and it is all on you but that werks .28 is not good for that truck...there is a reason they quit making that motor......a p5x,vspec,rb s5.....all under $275....way better than that werks pile.....ok mike say what ya want. Wink

thanks man. What should i do with the other orings? double em up?

edit: nvm i got it there bigger.

Do you just get that mobile one at like a gas station or something? and does that red grease come w/ the kit?
no the red grease is the mobil one.....autozone. just like the tube in the picture...Wink

o ok i got it. ill get some of that. and what p5x is the one your talking about? i can find which one cause theres like 3 different ones that say p5x.
o ya, sorry for all the questions but i dont know anythin about truggies. I heard something about sanding the outdrives, did you do that?

edit: another question lol. Do you use the longer screws or just the stockers?
homer (bmain) is prolly getting some more motors in this week, better to email him.

and yes i use 12mm screws in mine......i sanded the ones in my truck but not the buggy...really dont matter.
ill try that. I do like the rb, ive seen alot of people with em, and since you do have the same engine and truggy and you say its good, then it will prolly be good for me too. lol. oh, another q, do you shim the diffs too, i keep reading stuff about doing that too, and how do you do that anyways?

Thanks for all the help man.
no problem dude....i didnt have to shim any of my mugen diffs, just build them, slap them in and make sure there isnt too much slop between ring and pinion, if it is sloppy then add a shim to the ring gear side, if it is too tight put a shim on the other side. i run mine kinda notchy for the first time then they break in smooth like butta, prolly 6-8 gallons on my truck and diffs still look brand new, use that mobil one on the ring and pinions too. a team helotes 2600mah hump pack and a hitec 5955 for steering be better choices IMO.
i would do those but i think $95 for the ace servo is pretty much all i can afford now since i am buying the whole kit and everything. I got everything else decided on just not the engine yet.
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti...LXNRN6&P=7

there ya go...same exact servo as hitec 5955. Smile
what is the difference between that and the ace? i had the aces and they were pretty damn fast and strong...
Compare the specs...Comon a little research on your part wouldn't hurt...
well i have those ace servos in my jammin and they are ok, but not near as strong or fast as the hitec/hobbico, the bigger the throttle servo the better those big wheels will turn.
so what would you recommend if i had... say $150? or $175? for throttle and steering?
2 of those hobbico servos. or 1 ace and 1 hobbico
1 ace 1015 or 1313?

so youve tried those hobbice ones for sure? i dont wanna buy crap. Ill try that one out with one ace if theyre good.
1015....i would just go with 2 hobbico servos.

the hobbico servos are THE SAME as the hitec ones...same motor, same case, same servo
ya but im already at like 15 dollars and i still gotta buy a $221 engine. lol.
