Lmao
the site has no info on the "modding" I tried to call him with no luck Sad I left a message and will call again tommarow as I need my engine pinched prior to the next pro series race which is in about a week and half
osrocket...
yeah I used osrocket like 2 yrs ago with good luck, I just like trying new people/things
no pics on site at all
so what exactly is pinching? ive been reading this thread and never got what it was.
a process that can in take a motor that is worn out and lacks compression and renews it and adds a couple gallons to the life of the motor....

As long as the sleeve and pistion dont have gouges or serious blems most worn p/s will benefit from a pinch ...

I think you can only pinch a motor like 3 times though
shit u can pinch a motor for ever, run it till it blows baby!!!
motoxer4life Wrote:so what exactly is pinching? ive been reading this thread and never got what it was.

they basically make the top of the sleeve a tighter fit so it has more compression
hell czech had an rb that jimmy pinched so many times its only an 18 now.
i think im gonna send this guy my cen 46, is that legal for 1/8 buggy at that pro series yall talk about
Zing!!!
never recieved a call back from them today... thats strike one in my book
Might as well just buy the new reciprocating assembly. ( P/S. Conrod Wristpin and Clip)

At least that's what I'd do...but I guess that's expensive.

Would you say you racers pinch your 'expensive' motors a couple times instead of rebuilding them?
yea cuz its stupid to rebuild it cuz it cost about as much as a brand new one so why bother
I wanted him to modd mine as well though...

After the life of the engine is done...do you then rebuild it after it;s been pinched? I've not gone through many motors, Im just curious what you would do.
not many do, alot of times if you are sponsored you can send in your used shit an they will rebuild it for you either for free or pretty cheap. But when my dad had the access to the machines to do pinching i pinched them light until they just didnt run as well. At that point most of my motors had 10 gallons on them so they were for parts or to sell with a roller on ebay. Usually the bearings are good and the case is always good to have for back up etc. pinching is pretty much ur best bet, break it in again (lightly) then after about a gallon or so throw in a new rod and it will last you a long time
