take the carb off and keep it so when you get another chitty motor you can at least run a good carb on it

i dont think the bearings or the crank are gone, but the rest is slide the crank out and take the rest of the stuff outta there, u could prolly get some cash for the bearings also

There was metal in/around the crankshaft and bearings, so I'm weary about the bearings, and the crankshaft may have gotten scratched up. I don't feel like tearing it down right now.








Rocco or George-Does the Hyper/picco motors need clutches or? I'd rather run the hyper motor so it's legal but if it would be a complete PITA for that to happen don't worry about it.

u can easily clean the metal chips out, the motor proly didnt run long with the shards in there so it prolly didnt damage those things

You forgot two. The duratrash from the Max ST and the HPI .18 from your RS4, and kinda the 3.3.

Man, where did you get that motor from? Send it back to OS and see what happens, if all else fails lie and tell them you dont even have a gallon on it, or beat the piss out of the hack that sold it to you.
