well, it was a free body to practice on is how I looked at it. I f'ed up the front (forgot to back the silver before shooting the blue) oh well....he can run it into a wall during practice if he doesn't like it, or cover it with giantic

What blue did you end up using?? Fascent Blue?

Yeah, fasescent blue backed with fasblue, highlighted with silver sealed with white. "Candy blue" he called it....who the hell makes Candy blue?

I like the blue, it turned out ok.

The CF in the blue is fasescent purple, for fun!

Just cuz he is looking for free bodies cuz hes a pro i dunno i just think its BS hes a painter he knows how it is and Im sure whoever he decides to have paint his shit from now on he wont be paying them. He wanted me nemo and Josh to enter the contest too hmm i wonder why

Dave, I can't get my blue to photograph well at all....your color on the Korn body pic is what my blue looks like in person but will not photograph anywhere close...looks really light. :confused: I've tried it a couple of different ways...flash, no flash, etc.

Mine's pretty lite in real life..lighter than Fasc Blue in the bottle when you hold it next to the finished body. On mine the silver and white backers really made the Fasescent blue get lighter.

jerry what kinda camera do you have? I usually have the white balance set on auto and that usually takes care of the problem if there is enough light around you. i usuualy get my best pics during daylight hours in a room that gets a good deal of natural light so i dont have to use flash. The photo box with lights is really the best option

I tried it both ways...the body is a little darker than the Fascent blue in the bottle, but always looks lighter in the pics. I was hoping to try outside in the sun but its been raining ever since I finished it...go figure
