Looks good Dave.

The shadows on the side = killer, but the shadows on the front = more then one light source (unless it was in a gym or something that has lights hit you from all angles). Nice job.

Just one suggestion...less is more on the drop shadows...especially with a White or light color base.

yeah don't I know it.....:o: NOW. Learning as I go, learning as I go.

The thing to remember is that shadows aren't really black. They are just the absence of light...so really just a darker version of the color being covered. Most of the time a transparent black will give the correct results except on white & yellow. On those colors I've found that adding some color to the shadow will produce better results.
