Most action he's ever gotten. lol. Poor box.
hey even the big ones need some loving....just wont be from me
im bored at work
i got a random question and to make a long story short, a guy at the track said he had 50 gallons on an rc engine lol. I told him i didint think they even got past 15 but he said for sure. Idk, his engines looked old but not 50 f'in gallons. so is it possible? I dont think so.
If you keep rebuilding it...
or u just do slow circles in the parking lot; the dudes prolly full of shit
You figure a gallon of fuel is like 6 hours of run time.

so 50 Gallons is 300 Hours. Unless he rebuilds them I doubt a Nitro engine would EVER last that long.
theres just no way. You would wear the chrome off the sleeve
Ya, he kept saying that he needed a new sleeve, and he didint say anything about doing it before.
ya my motors have 22 gallons on them, I get about 17minutes per tank of gas as well
50 gallons on the same engine with the same components (p/s, crank, bearings)... no. On the same crankcase with all new internals every 10 gallons or so I guess it could be done, but I'm no expert...
Yeah, and my Grandpa used to saw he had George Washingtons hatchet! The handle was replaces 4 times and the axe head twice!

but it would be cheaper and better to just get the new engine.
better? maybe not, cheaper to buy new? god yes
ya, plus they were traxxas motors
oh shit well then they DEFINETLY dont have that much fuel on them, maybe 5 gallons but thats pushing it
Lol its true, my average TRX engine lasted like 6
Reasons why the guy who told you that is full of shit..
- The rpms these mills turn is so high (and unbalanced) there is no way they can last tha long

- The materials they are made of arent 100,000 mile materials
- The fuel they burn... See how long anything last running on NITRO-methane!
- Their design. They just arent designed to last that long, i mean C'mon! They are a ringless designed motor.
man you are sooo smart professor zoccoli......lmao
Yeah and i didnt even need to pay 40k a year to fail out of college to get to this point.
hey i passed! 3 C's and 2 A's
