I picked up my SM from Obsessive today, I get home, charge the RX pack, get all ready to bash... then it starts raining... just my luck.

3 hours later... still raining, I figure oh well, ill do some jumps and speed runs anyway, since i havent run with VBS yet, even though my electronics are not waterproofed.

It was running better than ever, thanks to Jerry. I got a good... half a tank in :p:

Thats the first upper i've ever broken. I figure that broke because VBS supports the rear of the hingepin on the lower arm, and I never bough any spare uppers sooo im done for a day or 2. Wink

Also, the aluminum VBS skids are holding up very well, I did about 3 nose dives from 5 to 7ft up, and the skid did not bend back at all. I think i'll hold off on the titanium skids for the time being.
Confusedlap: :blah:
I like how it hasnt rained since I broke the arm. Rolleyes
cool beans man! Glad to see you are back in action. Your toe in the back looks a little off, or is that just how the pic makes it seem?

Also, Rob, am I still picking you up for Berwyn? just wondering if anything has changed. Smile

from the back of the truck, the left rear = broken, the right rear = setup fine

Don't know. I've auctually never raced at all. The handling was really nice in the backyard though, w/ garbage stock t-maxx tires.
Very cool...no more broken arms w/ that set up!!
nice, did u move the tank or is that just how the kit comes, new to the maxxes, just got one about a week ago. if you did it why, lower center of gravity or something?

I'm running a DACE Predator chassis kit, which comes with an OFNA tank & standoffs that is mounted there.

It is in that location to better balance the weight of the truck, thus improving handling.

Nice truck guy, cant wait to meet you!
That chassis goes great with that SS BBQ!!
You have a good camera and know how to use it, obviously!
Good work! So how many times have you run over the dogs?
