#1
In starting a demo run for a local youth group. This video was shot in the first 5 minutes I must add. We had just got the first 2 cars out & was attempting to warm them up. This is what happened ...

Best if viewed in high quality

dave didn't you see how it jumped in front of his car? lol

That was once crazy crash, but it could have been advoided by letting off the throttle when he lost control of the car (then he could have asked you for a rematch).

I do agree. I find the video kinda amusing. He started in the outside lane & moved over off the line at least 12 feet. That would have been the time to cut the throttle & re-group. His car has/had a much bigger engine & should have won this race. With the 5b model, it is easy to put more power in them than is controllable. This is a common mistake made by many people. Reguardless of track ( paved or dirt ) the over powered cars require more throttle control than most can handle. I have driven them with about every combination in them & Torque equals tire spin which equals crashes or spin-outs. Neither make them much fun, especially in a race of any kind. Mine has done very well racing. Even though they spelled my last name wrong here ...

His car is fixed. New chassis, top front brace & new bumper. He had spare parts from changing things earlier. Only new part was new Integy bumper. If all parts bought total cost under 250$.

It does show why control is Very important with large scale vehilces. Could have been way worst had a New car been hit, or worse someone child. Anyone running one should look seriously at using a Spektrum style radio to lessen the opportunity for problems.
