Yea,just way to much. I took it out to see what it can do and I was locking up all 4. Mainly the fronts, but all 4 if I didnt watch what I was doing lol.

But as for parts to go with. New body is NUMBER 1. This stock body is worse then the stock revo body. Its like they molded some paper into the shape of the body!

Nope,just two thick ones.
And the Majestic LSP doesnt look to bad either.

I see at A-Main,They have dace adapters. But how would they work with the ST-1. I have them on my revo and so if I were able to put them on the St-1,would save me some money on rims and tires! LOL

Also,these springs

hey casketman, when are we going to see that truggy at the track? i want to see how it hangs with my revo

i think the stock springs work perfect. those are for the buggy so i dont think they would fit the front shocks. The rears on the truggy and buggy are the same, but the fronts on the buggy are shorter.

thats a good idea with the adapters, u would still have to make sure the rims dont rub the rod ends tho

I have no clue when it will be out. I have a itch to race and it is getting worse! I might wait to get things changed on the truggy and revo. But who knows. I might stop out there tomorrow. But I doubt it will be to race. But then again. Who knows Smile
When does the track open and racing start? And how much is it?

I have alot to change on the ST-1 and it has so many things to change on it. I thought the revo could be a bitch to set up just right. That is nothing next to this. This will be interesting.

Well I know I should changed the diff's. The guy before me put 45wt oil in the shocks. So I am thinking of going up to the 50-60 range. Other then that, the rest will fall into place the more time I get behind the controls.

i would go with 45-55 (fr-Rr) for the shocks and 7-30-3 for the diffs

30 for the center? I thought I saw 10,well I have to admit,I dont fully understand the whole set up as to what weight will do what and so on. But I will figure all of it out. So dont worry bri, both the ST-1 and the revo will be there soon enough Smile

Oh and not sure if you talked to him. But he did a good job of hand Wes and I our asses last friday before whimpy closed up shop.

Yea, He was like normal on the first heat. Not driving all that hard. I took the truck out between heats and ran it like mine(I do like how his handles too). Then for the second heat and main. He drove that thing like it was on rails. And he stayed clean with it too. Not crashing. But he did give me a nice bump and run at the start of the main. I was not able to regroup after that.

But overall,he did good and he didnt drive it like he was scared to crash or hit someone.

Just need to put that boot in his ass. I know he will be back to being worried when he goes to a new track cause he doesnt want to crash into anyone. He doesnt care about me cause well,we are best friends, basicly brothers. But with you 2 and even around new people. He gets very worried. But he showed that once he can get past that. That mexican can run! lol

But how many other people run ST-1's? And how much of the buggy info and setup can be used on the truck?
What are some good set ups for the ST-1 that people use at the track both indoor and out?
Myself,I like for the truck to turn good and stick the turn. Drive deep into a corner and take the inside lane. I dont like to bottom out with my revo, but I know that will happen alot with the truggy. I like to have a somewhat stiff ride, but not so stiff that it jumps all over the place when the track gets rough and I lose control.

there's a few real fast truggys that Pat and i have been watching, and asking about there setup's, i made some changes last week and TQ'd, ran about 3 seconds a lap faster then the week before, and now i made some more changes and hopefully with get me closer to what the truggy's are running

ok, started break-in on the ST1 today and got 3.5 tanks into it when the throttle linkage stripped the rod end of the rod. And one of the brake linkage rods is stripped in the servo horn attachment block. So, I need to beef up some linkages.

I got the JR rx installed and the rx battery pack. Got the radio all setup. I like ho wthe truck was moving during break-in and look forward to getting it done so I can lean it out and get driving for real.

The diff oils and wing extension, along with narrow wing arrive midweek from AMain.

It definately has the RTR quality on some of the small details like the linkages, but I'm looking at Jammin' or Kyosho linkage parts to see how they do it and lots of the parts look the same....so it might just be a case of a "Friday Afternoon" build over in Tiawan. Plastic is easy to strip out, we've all done it.
