Just bend all over town and cracked three stock bulkheads. Cant wait to try the thick Ti ones I got now.

I found that out today, the hard way.

you don't have a truck fast enough to cause real damage.................well now you put that 2.5 in, I forgot about that.

ehhh.. yeah I have to agree on the picco .26's the are powerfull but they seem rather unreliable. I never had one myself I've seen more picco .26's run bad, stall randomly, and been impossible to start, rather than run good.

Other worst hop ups..
the 3 racing Mini-t Ball Diff.
Traxxas's FOC.. broke that with a .12 CVR back in the day.
HCR .21 conversion... super thin flexi Ti and overpriced.

1:8's.. K3, Inferno GT, and a straight line beater car

I've run the TRX FOC with no problems yet. I guess the power I'm putting down isn't strong enough.

don't worry Towshen, he's not doggin' your hop-ups. He probably bent some before.

Yeah I bent them first time out. Bent the two rears actually.

that was an abnormal hit I'm sure. It was just chance that it hit that hard to do that much damage. I don't know, my crap powerline bulks are holding up real good so far. I will pretty much do anything (and abused them quite well so far) and they have held up very nicely.

I also like the Hardcore Ti skids I'm using. The have held up well through some abuse.

nobody is knocking anyones hopups.. just relaying bad experiences with various things.

ohh just though of something else.. the Traxxas lightweight pillow balls for the maxx. They are super brittle and will snap like a toothpick on the first bad landing.

I was going to get those! Sad

What is a good brand that has teflon coated strong pillow balls?

i was thinking about getting those as well. The UE one's are a bit pricey but are nice I'm sure.

yeah stay away from them. the traxxas ones are Aluminum. Also thats not teflon coating on the traxxas ones they are just hard annodized from what I know. The ones I had snaped while running RPM arms. If you want smoother pillow balls the UE ones are much higher presision and very round making it smoother but I dunno the stock ones seem to work fine too.
