Depends on your tank quality and feedings
6 months to a year and tangs require larger tanks.
Watch out cuz there are TANG police that will get all over your arse for having it in a small tank.
A 75 is the smallest I would put one in and with limited # of other fish promarily smaller. They do tend to become aggressive and pigs too.
Go to a Japanese grocery store and buy NORI and not the roasted kind.
Feed the tang that with a feeding clip.
IMO--you should not have got this tang for your tank.
