Just got some new additions for my fish tank
Okay good you are off to a good start now for recovery.
Since you have another tank---reset this one up with all new water then.

Rinse of everything as much as you can that you have bleached.
Do the dipping method from one to the next. meaning one bucket then drip off the water then dip into the 2nd bucket and repeat as many times you can.
Then clean it all up with mild solution of vinegar and so the same thing all over again.
And yes clean all the rock, filters---all of it.
