I thought that i had the best fuel picked out for the engine but i guess i didnt. when i was talking to one of the employees at LH he was saying that the Trinity Platinum 30% is no good. i thought it was a good fuel but he said that it only has 8% oil in it and that the motor will burn up in a few gallons. is he right or should i just forget what he said and run the fuel. he also stated that Byrons is a better fuel b/c it has more oil (12%) and it still has 30% i would like to run the traxxas 33% only because it is guaranteed for my new motor. can anyone help me with my dilemma?
I use platinum 30%.....great fuel IMO
I only had it overheat, because it was too lean, but other then that time it has been fine for me.
it also gives more horsepower IMO
if you run this fuel then make sure you have a temp gun because when I over heated, it didnt act like it was too lean and the temp. was 315.
in my 2.5 it runs strong between 225-260
