Honestly you should let the games choose for you. Take a look at the current games out there, and pick the ones you like, go with whatever system gets you the games want.
Something to consider, the 360 and PS3 demand a good screen and sound system. Most of the games for these consoles only provide the full experience if you have a hi-def and surround setup.
The Wii's games on the other hand don't seem to need a HD screen or surround systems to enjoy the games. Wii bowling is great, mario galaxy is fun too. I don't own a Wii, I'm just going on my limited experiences playing the Wii at my friends house so I don't have that much experience with all of its games.
Thats not to say the Wii won't benefit from a HD/surround setup though, that makes any game better.
However, I can say this. When playing forza I dim the lights, close the blinds, and crank the surround up to hear the cars scream. For me Forza 2, and Halo 3 sold the Xbox 360. The addition of a HD-DVD drive also helped tremendously. I will be following it up in a few months with a PS3, the reason being blue-ray. I may never get a Wii, the games while fun aren't something I can pick up over and over again.
*A side note. If you buy the Wii, get the replacement straps. Some people get a little TOO enthusiastic with the controller and forget themselves. :o:
