well from me racing MT competatively and now racing buggy, the MT is harder to go fast.
IMO Buggies are way easier to drive overall. With the amount of buggies that race you won't end up as competative as in MT racing but they are easier to get around the track.
To answer the question about the 4wd gas trucks, those don't currently have a class at the track. They may let you run in the GT class but you will most likely get smoked by those 2-wheelers, they are quick.
