One of my best friends was a trucker, haulin gravel in his own truck. He wanted to start up a business, but an injury ended it. now he makes custom cabinets , home improvements and finished basements. He did our basement - its spectacular.
But I have had my run ins with bad truck drivers. Once I almost got squished from behind when traffic on the highway stopped, but the driver drove into the shoulder at the last minute, reamerging into traffic later. I definately would have died had he not dove off the road. Another time, my mother was backing out of a parking spot, and the truck driver suddenly got out and started shouting at us that we hit his rig. We did not hit him. It was obvious, and there was no damage to either vehicle. He was crazy. after we left, he filed a false police report - and my mom's insurance settled!!! When they tried to raise her rates, she dumped them.
Once we were the idiots and my buddy tried to pass a semi in a snowstorm. The wind on the ice slick road blew us into a slide and we collided with the truck. The driver saw it coming and slowed down and took evasive manuvers. That saved our lives. If he had not acted fast, we would have been rolled over by the trailer.
Truckers come in all forms and I have learned to beware and respect them.

You're never to old to be immature
