Hello, I am new to the RC world and I ended up buying a used Team Losi XXX-nt RTR off of ebay for $160. It is in good shape and hasnt been ran in a year. I got it running, but tends to stall quite a bit. Probably some fine tuning will help. The gas that I am using is a couple of years old 20% nitro, with the original glo plug. Could this be a factor in not running consistent? When it runs it hauls, or at least I think it does. Also when turning and on the power it turns wide. Is there anyway to set up the suspension to help turning while under acceleration? One more question. I was told by the previous owner to snap the fuel tank cover to prime the engine. When I prime the engine I lose a lot of fuel through the exaust when trying to pullstart the engine, is this normal? If anybody gets a chance please let me know your thoughts on this truck.
Thanks

Get new fuel and a new glow plug for sure. Did you remember to charge the receiver pack/put in new batts? That could be why the steering suck.

those don't turn good under power from my experiences no matter how you set it up. I had the same truck previously.
Fuel goes bad after a few months generally so you are using bad fuel right now.

Team Losi xxx-nt are very good trucks! I have had one for a while and love it. You will not be dissapointed in your puchase! As for your questions, your truck will never turn good under power. Because of the 2 wheel drive the front end torques under power and you lose most steering. Hence why it is a hard class to run, that and the fact that it will spin out on you if you don't have very good throttle control. Enjoy the truck!
Also welcome to the boards!! :wavey: :wavey:
