trx 3.3 engine problem help please?
Posted by: gregk20 - 08-10-2010, 12:20 PM - Forum: Engine / Drivetrain - Replies (1)

i have traxxas trx 3.3 and if i blow in the hose that conncects to the exhaust to prime the carb it cranks right up and if i keep on throttle kinda hard it will run for few seconds but if i let off it is like it is not staying primed or is flooding out. I have tried using the factory carb specs and it did not make a difference. it does not have any air leaks that i can find if i blow in any of the hoses it primes the carb so i dont believe it has any leaks.. any suggestions? thanks

  Noobie looking for dirt track/bashing
Posted by: Z2_Cantilever - 08-09-2010, 12:25 PM - Forum: Racers Forum - Replies (5)

Hello,

New to the board. I live in Oak Park just west of chicago. I run brushless clods and am looking for dirt tracks and outdoor areas to mess around on and jump. I don't race per se but am thinking about getting into it. Anyone know of any cool areas or tracks that I can mess around and practice on?

TIA

Large Scale Custom Pullers ( WWPA ) - Winamac Indiana
Posted by: looker2756 - 07-27-2010, 02:06 PM - Forum: Multimedia - Replies (2)

Another great weekend, hanging with the coolest group of R/C guys from the WWPA. Thanks to Greg " Sunny " The day stayed dry & Mother Nature avoided dropping rain, until the event was over this time. Probably the best weather we have had at this show so far, Not baking hot, but Not raining or to wet either. Tons of great pulls for everyone to see, & a great time had by all.

The WWPA has been around for some time now. Their name means " Weed Wacker Pullers Association ". I met these guys about 3-4 years ago at the I-Hobby Expo in Chicago, maybe a few of you have seen them too. I have been attending events when I can ever since we met. Really is one of the nicest groups of people involved, all of them there for the right reasons, Friendly competition & having Fun. Last weekend was the 3rd event for them for their season & the first competition event I could attend this year. Once again we had a great time & so I wanted to share the footage of that event. Feel free to make a comment. Remember these are all custom built machines doing some Amazing pulling.

Once again HUGE thanks to Jim ( N'Sayn Racing ) - For allowing me to drive his cool machines again. There is NO doubt Winamac is my LUCKY place. Took 3rd place in the truck class & by a total twist of fate got the chance to pilot the Tiller tire JD & with Greg having issues. I won the Exibition class. How lucky can one guy be ?

  New guy
Posted by: RCveteran - 07-25-2010, 07:54 AM - Forum: Off-Topic - Replies (1)

Hello,

Just saying hi, I have been out of the scene for 15 years at least. I did a lot of racing back in late 80's up through mid 90's. Even had a small Schumacher sponsorship when they weren't really known. I worked at a local hobby shop all through high school and met the founder of Schumacher at the expo show and got lucky. Good memories.

The bug bit me again, and right now I have an RC10B4.1 Brushless, Stampede, Losi Mini Desert truck, Multiple vintage JRX2's and RC-10's in various states of repair and resto.

Is anyone actually in the city, I live downtown and need some good places to go bashing.

  Wheels for your real car

Sorry to spam the board. PM me or email [email protected] for quote. If there is a particular style of wheel that you are looking for, just email me a picture and I'll see if it something that I carry. A lot of aftermarket wheel companies sell the same style of wheel, but the name is different (and the center cap my vary slightly

  My 4x4 SCT

So instead of just buying a new 4x4 SCT, I tried my hand at making my own with some recycled r/c cars and parts... Do you think this will be legal?

  Old Fuel Disposal
Posted by: egglick - 07-15-2010, 09:13 AM - Forum: Off-Topic - Replies (3)

Hey guys. I know this topic must have come up a few times in the past, but I couldn't find anything with a search.

Anyhow, I've got roughly a combined 1.5 gallons of very old fuel which I need to dispose of. Where can I do this?? I know nitro fuel is horrible for the environment and I would never dump it somewhere.
