Well it's official, after trying to convince Torco Racing Fuels to come out with an RC blend for some time they have agreed to do so. I got the word earlier today.

The fuel that powers Top Fuel racers like Melanie Troxel, J.R. Todd and many others is going to be available to us RC guys. Best of all, it will most likely be enhanced with Lucas Oil racing lubricants!!!

Expect to see it available Jan/Feb and in my pit area. Look for national advertising supporting the brand also. I can't wait to see Melanie racing a buggy on TV!Big Grin

Welcome to Torco Race Fuels
Scweeeeet
i use Lucas in my car every oil change! if it helps a rc mill like it did my car people will buy it up. i get a extra 50 mi. per taink because of Lucas.
this could increase run time and reduce ware!
Wait... What do you use to get more MPG's?
Ttt
Lmao
whatever. i use a little blue pill and get better performance
think we are talking about our cars here al...Smile qouldnt mind trying torqo I ran that VP (nitrotane) and didnt care for it much..I love my byrons
werks ftw! Smile try it ull like it lol
I hate to do this because mike will just thump his chest even more....

But werks is it. I learned my lesson Sad

Im just curious as to what problems you had with the tilted. What lesson was learned. So far so good for me. Was a complete different tune from Byrons but since I got that sorted out its been good for me. Seems once the motors tuned I cant see any difference in the way the motor runs. I think once im done with my case I may switch back. I just liked having it show up on my door step at a nice price.
well run a tank back to back get it tuned with byrons or whatever and then run the tilted, if u gotta richen it up with the tilted it isnt worth running imo
I wouldn't mind trying Torco either. But when going from OD to Werks the difference was huge! I was able to lean my HSN and got better performance and still ran cooler!
I had to richen up the motor to run the tilted.

I was never able to get the low end to run right. No matter who helped. It just didnt want to run good in the ninja. Then again, the sidewinder did the same thing in this motor too and I hear they are somewhat close mixture wise.

But when I got 6 minutes of run time at LHR one day. That was when I had enough and went back to works. 11-12 minute run times is what I have back now. Rd 3 in Stl,I figured I could do atleast 12 minutes on a tank.
look homer hooks up thecommon guy with great deals but... HE MAKES THE FUEL !?!?!?
How accurate could the formula be with 9 ferrets working fuel factory in his garage!?!
+1
no one local sell werkz is why I have never tried it
Al's has is and thats about it.

The power was good with the tilted green. So I have nothing bad to say about that. I guess the bottom line is to each their own with the fuel.

Hi... I like to contradict myself.
Have a dew drew... you need one
my head hurts
I did have to lean my needles from byrons but I did notice that my run times seemed to have gotten worse with the tilted if thats possible. I dont understand why if I lean the main J I get less run time. I now need 2 pits in 15 on the 21bf. I have never tryed werks but I may in 2 1/2 gallons.Cool
I didnt mean it like that rocco.
I just didnt like how I couldnt get the low end just right. That doesnt mean I didnt like the fuel.
Is it good? Yes,I had the same power output as I do with werks. I just didnt have the luck with it as others have.
u make no sense what so ever
my head hurts
