I think the name dodge says it all
dodge care van so your mom can be a SOCCER MOM! :moon: :bustingup
Chevy Equinox! Yeah it's a Chevy, but rides like a Caddy and get's great gas mileage, and it'll even fit your bigself in the back with the 2 kids!
eww dont get the nitro. That car is fugly.
My folks picked this '06 Town and Country Touring up last August, it gets a little better mileage than my CHerokee around town but tops 20mpg easy on the highway, pulls suprisingly strong for only a V-6 in a 4500lbs in a front driver (It'll break the tires loose from a rolling start with the traction control turned on!) and Dad just did a check on it and found there weren't
any recalls on '06 T&C's too!

How in the he!! do you plan to fit 3 people in the back of a civic? Is you family a bunch of circus performers?
dont get a civic there slow and gay but great gas mileage

CU's city/highway, mpg 12/25
Too low for what my parents are shooting for, thanks for the suggestion though.

That's pretty much what we're shooting for, slow, gay, and great mileage.
I think I *might* have my parents sold on the xB. The ion looked good, but all reviews said horrible things about it.
And the xB has a huge amount of horsepower!!! 103! Woohoo! hahaha.
Wow I would never have guessed that it is that low. My Mazda 3 gets about 22-24 Mpg in the city. I didnt think there would be that much of a difference.

Staying away from hybrids...Parents and I don't like the whole plug in your vehicle thing.

lmfao

No offense but you and your parents are a little special then!
60 mpg and you DON'T have to plug the car in! It charges the battery with the gasoline motor, decent horsepower, and plenty of room. Wheres the downside. Oh yeah they do look silly though!
ya get the hybrid spazz! as gay as it is, if i was gonna get a new ride thatd be it, im sick of this 60$ in gas a week for the pile i drive
The Xb has tons of room inside too. A civic is stupid small and will not get the mileage that a scion does. And to the WRX comment.... tight fitting 5 people and not great mileage. You fail.
Last I checked, the element is not a hybrid. It's more along the lines of the xb in terms of size and shape. All the seats fold in wierd ass ways too, making for tons of cargo space if need be.
hagasan has one and it'll fit both of us and rc gear with ease. Good gas mileage too.
get on yahoo greek master
Hondas get good milage for all of their classes. Honda Element Seems to be the most spacious vehicle that will get the best milage. And don't knock honda engines, they are strong for their size.
I would be willing to bet that although it may not look like it, the Xb has more interior room. I am 6'3 and when I sit in one there is just soooo much room. I don't think an element will get 38+ mpg either...
