I see an XGames event in the making here. Bernie, can you add some dirt areas to the onroad track once a year?
you can't be serious Dave, add dirt onto the on-road track? ok you can be the one to come clean it up when it's all over with...lol
i think you can get bodies alot cheaper than that, but it wont look like the nice rally car version with all the graphics on it, those are expensive

Once a year....hell, I'll help clean it up....it would be worth it to see a race like those xgames guys ran! That was wicked!
that would be really awesome Smile

What is the stock gearing and optional gearing numbers?
I may have to get them too, I want it fast! Big Grin

15/19 is the op gearing. with stock there is alot of tire spin!
Czech-it-Out Graphics Wrote:sweet tires man! Wink lol

they work great off road on these cars!
The Kyosho bodies are expensive (around $100 painted from Kyosho, $50 clear) AND the clear bodies from Kyosho don't come with ANY decals. The Ofna Ultra GTP bodies fit perfectly though, and are much cheaper.
forgive my ignorance, but are these just 1/8th scale buggies basically?

I know the tires, bumpers and shocks etc are diifferent, but basically an 1/8th scale
Yeah
Yeah George. You could change the shock towers, shocks, bumper and take out the 2-speed and you'd have a buggy.
does it run with a normal 1/8th clutch. I assume it has a 2 speed bell on it.

Will leisure hours run a 1/8th class, or are these just for parking lot fun
Correct, it runs an 1/8 scale clutch, with a 2 speed bell.

Parking lot fun??? These things will go almost anywhere. They'll handle some decent bumps and small jumps, NOTHING like a 1/10 scale on-road, or even a regualr 1/8 scale on-road racer.

Hopefully Bernie will have a class for these. I know they won't run with the 1/8 scale racers, they are not suited for the same type of racing. If nothing else, I am sure they'll be able to run on practice nights.
The Booker brothers have them too... I think the ones they have are ofnas... There are two more for your class
So who all has one?

can you tell my interest is sparked...LOL
Firesprink, Me, SixVi6, Eracer, and I guess the Booker brothers (Whoever they are) lol

They are a lot of fun. Unlike most on-roads, you don't have to have a prepped surface to run them. ANY paved surface, or fairly smooth dirt surface will work. If you raise the body, and adjust the droop, you can run on rougher surfaces.
tim and todd booker. Im sure you know them
Maybe if I saw them. Off hand, the name doesn't sound familiar.
Yeah your prolly right....
anyone got a lead on a used one.
just what you need ... Another toy...
I can see it now, we can stand by the fountain at the fh and race the parking lot loop
LOL!!!!!!!!!! Thats why you cant get one! Cuz ill have to get one!
that subaru body one is cool. Plus I watched the rally america on espn it was pretty cool.
Its this or mini racing in the basement
