i should be able to make it out for a bit. I need to get a new gal of fuel and charge my radio and reciver, but i dont start work till 4 on sunday so i should be able to make it for a bit.

Last time I was out there it was around 100* too. Wasn't as bad as you'd think. Lots of water, stay in the shade. Don't play around too much. Sunscreen and wala, you have fun.

dang six made it out!?! stupid carpet sale!lol what did ya bring out six? have to make it out and meet ya allen!

I brought everything.. the RC18t (with the 3s LiPo), The Inferno GT, and my K3 that now has the NR .28 in it. Luckily I get back from training for work on sat so sunday I'll be there next week. I'll bring my plastic ramp too. We can have a ramp in the grass (to eleminate the curb danger if you miss the ramp) as well as the one on the curb for the big air.

Hmm...Looks like I might have to weasel my way into getting a ride from my parents out there some time.

The Jato is Thirdgen89GTA's Buggy.
Jonh was closer to get it back on it's wheels before it died.
The Jato doesn't idle well at a stand still or on it's lid.

No problems with the Park Police at that location?

No they just stopped by to watch and make sure we wern't drinking any alcohol by the parking lot.
You have to be 50 ft away from the parking lot to consume alcololic beverages.
Other than that they thought it was cool that we were having fun.

Though we are apparently not allowed to run the cars on the pavement because its Obstruction of Traffic. Considering how dead that lot is its kind of funny.

yeha I know.. that lot had no more than 6 cars total in it at any time and 3-4 of them were our cars! But they should not be a problem.. just don't start trying to race traffic with the RC's.. lol!

You mean we can't race my Jato against a Mustang? Darn I wanted to try that.

Didn't really use my camera too much. Batteries are pretty old so it doesn't last long.

BTW, the video is 56k friendly at 880kb.

Bad ass video! I was going to lean it out a little bit more. usually that engine tops out at a higher RPM than that. too bad the rear bearling let go and ended the inferno GT fun. Its already fixed though and ready to roll. just have to get a bit of easier running in with it before sunday to break in the new gears I had to put in the rear.

I fixed the tmaxx too, got a new filter for the Jato, and ordered the parts for the buggy. hopefully the parts will be here by friday.

Every single hole in the Tmaxx's transmission casing for the chassis mount was stripped clean. No wonder the mesh wouldn't hold!
