hey i just got the spektrmu dx3 today and was setting it up when i realized that the throttle/brake servo was reversed.....so when i pulled the trigger back it applied the brakes and whne i pushed the trigger forwanrd it applied the gas.....

so how do i fix this??

thanks....kevin
read the instructions..........
i did
If you did, you'd know how easy it was to fix this problem.

Speaking od DX3s... anyone with one and a truggy notice that the EPA doesn't go high enough, or is it just me?
well i got help from destroy my revo 15......thanks again man.

robh i didnt understyand thats what iot was from in the directions
steering or throttle Rob?
steering
Yeah like it only goes to 110 instead of 125? It doesn't really matter to me, my steering is set at like 90-100 (Don't have it on me right now).

If it bothers you that much that you can't get full steering or something just get a longer servo horn...
No, I have the EPA at 125, and dualrate at 125%, but I still don't get full steering.

WOW......get a longer steering servo then, for my revo i made a custom one and its 2-2.5 times longer than the stock and I have my EPA set at 80 cause thats all it needs
are you sure your servo is centered?

You do not want your EPA's at full throw. That puts way to much stress on the servo and it will blow quickly.

What type of horn do you have? and what hole on the horn are you using.

Yup

The one that came with the kit, top hole.

I haven't noticed any flexing.
Something just aint right somewhere.
unscrew those black linkages as much as you can with out them falling off and still being strong threaded

that should help a little
that wont help at all. Thats the turnbuckle for steering alignment.
but if its longer then it will push the servo saver or w/e you got farther....correct me if im wrong
Your wrong. think about what your saying. the turnbuckle coming from the servo saver to the servo is for alignment purposes.
ok well i kinda uderstand, but oh well, anyways robh what i said wont work, lol
your servo link is on the the wrong side of the horn. If you look at your link it should be straight and yours I bet is at an angle. Also when you re adjust it make sure the horn is pointing at 12 o'clock and the link should be straight to the servo with the wheel s straight.
ya but that doesnt explain why he can turn it farther with the radio off, try a new servo
It would because the servo link is probably hitting the servo case so it cant full throw.
ok so then when he turns it by hand why isnt it hitting?
where does it say he gets full throw with radio off? I must have missed that... I am old
he took 2 pictures....eh too many dead bodies on ur mind Wink
man I thought they where the same...

Ok then what about the bolts that mount the ackerman to the servo saver. The black ones that go threw the bearings. If those are tightened to much they cause binding.
