Smile If ur running say a 16th tooth now just go to like a 20 tooth that motor has tons of power lol
Dan , do you think that OS will last longer if you keep bashing the head to the cement from 20 ft up? J/K
I heard what you were doing...

Dont forget, to use the 3 shoe clutch youll have to move the trans forward plus a few other things...I find it funny that I just pulled my VZB from my buggy cause I thought it was to much for indoors. But to each his own...

BTW...you missed a great day of racing. 3 Mt mains and I think your boy Mich took the victory with his trusty 2.5.
ask Tex Big Grin
my vspec is too much for anywhere, but its a life saver if u get into trouble and need that extra motor, if you can get the throttle control down solid a faster motor will always help u if not ur doin donuts lol

Oh you're funny... It was kind of dumb of me to try a flip after doing some tuning. It was too rich and didn't have enough pop to get it around. It kind of stalled upside down. Hay the first one was perfect. LoL I also thought that there was a couple 3-shoes that I could use without moving the trans... If not is there a real nice 2 that can take that power or no way?? I would like to stay away from moving it if I can... And I know mich ran good but he broke and finished 3 laps down... I already caught a lot of chit for not being there from him...

Oh well... I fealt like overpowering a revo... :bustingup

And I will probably talk to tex about gearing...

I can just adjust endpoints and slowly back them off as I get more used to the power...

Dont forget about ObsessiveRc. Hes put a few BB in revo's. Another power junkie

I keep trying to deny that I am one and say that I will get one that is just right... well it started with a .18 in a RC10GT now we are up to a .21 in a revo... hey it could have been a collari .30. LoL
Don't forget firesprink!! He loves to overpower things!

The head on the buggy was fine! oh yeah wingmounts took the abuse!!!
LoL... I guess I need to raise my wing a litle. LoL If I get a new rear tower type thingy I will redrill the holes a little higher and perfectly level. They only sell them in a parts thing that is about $20 and I need 1 of the 8 parts in it. LoL
And since we got off topic a bit LoL...

I GOT A MOTOR!! Thanks guys...
Thats the same motor I put in my Revo...start with 16/36 gearing, loosen up on the slipper a little you may want to change spring rates with it also. You are going to need an 1/8th scale clutch to really maximize life and potential.
Can I get away running this clutch:

Or should I go through the trouble of moving the trans and everything to fit a 1/8 scale clutch in there?? Doesnanyone have one for sale?? Reccomendations??
Dan, if you want to try mine first some time you can...just lemme borrow your stock setup while you're using that and we'll be cool.

LoL... alright... just don't be pissed if it fuses into one big integy mess. LoL :bustingup
Sad
The Integy will work but it won't last. You could try a Nova 7075 clutch. But your best off to run a 1/8th scale right away....it will save you some of the frustration of changing set ups, but it will always be trial and error.

Dan, at this point you should just bag the broken Revo, buy ORC's Big Block Revo and call it a day. Maybe you can get financing from him. Heck, if he'll give financing I should buy it! Jerry? $100 down and $25/month........
The juice on the loan would kill him!! Big Grin
LoL... it looks as though if I can sell a couple more parts I can be running this weekend...
I gave him novaRC 7075 1/8 3-shoe clutch shoes(half worn), 1.0 mugen springs, and a 16T bell.....$4 for all of it...

I will help him with the conversion if he needs help. Mainly you need mad moddifying skills.

All he needs now is a 3 shoe flywheel........
I am going with a Werks clutch in my next BB creation. Big Grin
