Czech-it-Out Graphics Wrote:swap the bearings with some novas and the mill will last u gallons

The one I will be getting has them in it. Big Grin
Mikey, he said he only has 130 bucks to spend ... The bearings will be 80 alone!
I just bought a V-spec with the Nova bearings 1/2 gallon on it for $130. :joy: :joy:

awsome! bye bye clutch.
I plan on getting a nice 3-shoe when I buy the conversion... if not then very shortly there after. I think it will be fun... I just want to wheelie like Gabe. LoL
And I mis-typed... I guess it is the VZB Non turbo. Therefore it is not the V-spec but still a powerhouse with nice bearings. Still not a bad deal IMO...
be carefull with those, some of them had a crappy p/s like sonny ran one for 8 gallons other guys ran them for 2 and they died lol
i bet thats nice to know AFTER ya bought it! LOL!
Well 2 is still more than I got out of the 2.5 LoL... Well I will run this untill it dies. When it does I will rob it of the bearings and find someone selling a v-spec. Hehehehe....
In the end I will have a full .21 setup with a pretty nice motor, a new clutch, and pipe for about $200. I think I will be fine...
NICE i looked at that engine today Cool
And what did you think/decide??
It was nice it will be faster than any 2.5 any day Big Grin i have 2 brand new turbo v-spec's in my room or i would have got it
rocco cant keep up j/k
What?? wit who???
i can keep up till about half way down the straight away. Against gabes p5 i can keep up the whole time. But then again buggy gearing and mt gearing a really different ratio's
My xtm is plenty fast
i was just playing with u guys Big Grin
im not sayin its a bad mill I love OS's I hope it last u a long time
If it doesn't last me at least a couple gallons I will be burning something down with my nitro fuel. LoL... J/K

So how should theis motor be geared?? Right now the gearing on the truck is stock...
Not sure of EXACT gearing, but it will have a LOT more torque. To offset this, you want to go with a smaller CB and a larger spur.
Yeah... I was wondering what would give me the best balance of pop off the line (I know I will have plenty) and speed. Further suggestions...
dan u want the opposite, larger CB smaller spur, a smaller cb will give u even more torque as will a larger spur
LoL... that is what I meant that I knew. I know what affect gearing has as I need to do it on mountainbikes. Kind of assumed it was typed correctly. Oops. LoL
