I put a built tranny and a loose stall in the car with a tune since then. Mods are A level 4 FLT trans, Vig 3600 stall, cheapo Used cat back, and lid with some Mickey Thompson Drag radials. Launching it could not be easier.. heat the tires well. roll up to the line and just off idle stomp the gas and let the converter flash (which is around 4000 rpm) and the car Dead hooks to 1.6-1.7 60' times and usually 12.65-12.70s at 105-106mph. I like to get a car to dead hook on what its got before I build more power. so since it hooks on what its got time for more mods.

I ran mine 6 times, 3 weeks ago at Byron Dragway.....5 of the 6 runs were 1.8 60' times on my stock 255/35/19 street tires
My best run was that 12.67 @ 108, and 4 of the runs were all 12.7's, I was really happy with how consistant the car was.

Damn! I knew it was only a matter of time before that car saw some work. What is done to it over stock? And if you don't mind..... what would your profession be?? (Frosty wants to be able to play with cars someday.....)

But in the end, wasn't the inevitable truth revealed?

A 600lb bike is always gonna be easier to make faster than a 3300lb car.
The car prolly dropped $50k on that shop bill, and the whole bike even with mods was prolly less than $40k.

That's why I rode a Kawi when I wanted fast! God, why did I watch that video? Now I want a new ZX14 Ninja.

I have some other things done too though, like....
Performance brake pads
Eibach coil springs
adjustable rear camber arms
tinted windows and all the stereo stuff

As for my profession, right now Im installing mobile electronics again, Ive changed jobs quite often following my wife's job around, we've lived in 3 different states and 4 different houses in the last 6-7 years LOL
Lucky for us, this is our home area for both of us

Where do you do stereos for?? (I have to ask even though I know it can lead to mespending more money. LoL)

I just put an msd ignition coil in my truck. Definatly a must have. Faster spark, more consistant, and just allows the motor to wind out so much quicker. I recommend it. Now I see why all of nascar and dragsters run the msd ignition setups.

GLD, Byron, I even hit US41 once this year all with a couple guys from my work. Really the only reason my car is so quick is all because of the converter gets the car off the line hard after you got past the 60' you would run me down quick. Street tires on my car.. ehhhh forget it.. . low-mid 13's depending on the 60' time. I have to get more suspension mods though. I've had problems with wheel hop and don't want to grenade the rearend.
