blown not sure if I undestand your post above. With a truggy you will be racing it ( I assume) so the more radio adjustments the better IMHO

On a Spektrum/truggy note, I remember cmeb4dk saying something to the effect that the DX3 has just the basic adjustments which some may outgrow in the future. Does that really apply to the truggy craze that's going on right now? I thought I remember them using features like brake bias and things not found on the more basic radios?
Brake bias is done on the car, not the radio.
I guess what I was asking is with a better radio (m8, m11, z1) will the truggys benifit from adjustments not found with say a DX3.
yes any race vehicle will benefit by a better radio. That is once you learn how to use the features. Using the features wrongly can hurt you.
I see what your asking Blown5.0. For me or you a DX3 is fine and has the features we would use in truggy racing. IMO
I know I'm sufficent with the cheap Futaba FM radio I have now.
How did you guys choose to run the reciever antenna out of the case? The book says it can stay out the top (factory) or be re routed through the side hole in the case. I'm thinking I'll just leave it the way it is coming out the top as long as there are no issues with it getting pinched by the stock Revo reciever box cover. I may also open up the reciever case to see if the antenna is routed properly per Spektrum's web site.
After the big success of the Spektrum system, now also Futaba will release a 2,4GHz radio system for the following radios: Megatech T3PK Megatech T3PK(B) Megatech T3PKS(B) FF-3 (T3VC) FF-3 (T3VCS)

Thats the transmitter module they show on the spek site not the recievers.
When I was setting up my DX3 it claims it has a FWD aadjustment, but I can't seem to find it. I have scrolled through all of the models and channels and nothing. Am I looking in the wrong place? Otherwise the radio is great, just can't find that function (it must be set right cause I getting full power to the ESC). Also it eats batteris like you would belive. Does anybody know of a nimh pack I can use for it?
FWD? Not sure what that means. Batteries for the radio/transmitter? Energizer batteries are up to 2500ma in NiMh. Last a long time. For the car ask the letric guys... :wavey:

I looking for a NiMh for the transmitter. But I figured out the where the "FWD" mode was. I have to say the DX3 manual isn't very thorough it skips around a little. So I'm just looking for a decent battery pack for the transmitter.
