Well the date is set for the "First Race at the New Place"
Date: Saturday, January 14th, 2006
Time: Registration and Practice 1:00-2:30. (if you get there before 1pm, normal LH practice fee will need to be paid to Bernie). Normal LH practice hours prior to 1pm apply.
Race starts: 3:00 P.M.
Classes: 1/8th scale, Unlimited MT, Standard MT, Gas Truck Open, Electric 19t truck & mod buggy
Schedule : 3 heats and 20 minute A mains for nitro, 15 minute B mains, 10 minute C and lower
Trophies: Top ten in 1/8th scale, UL MT, and Standard MT, Top 3 in Electric and Gas Truck
Fees: $25 first class, $15 each additional

Do I NEED my own transponder for an event like this, or can I use the tracks?

Where do you get the scoop? I saw a picture posted by RobH that showed a schedule and 1/14 was electric racing?
That schedule is revised.....
That was made up before the addition of this event. Believe me it is legit and should be a full house.
House transponders where available at the old place, so I assume they will be at the new place, but if your budget allows get your own, makes the race day 1000000X's easier.

I know I hear you Rocco. Work has been killer and we have been short handed so I have been working 12 hour days for the last 2 months. you will see me out here more because I will be making time to get involved more and keep up to date with the events.
But I will plan to be a LH first race.

Who is 3guysrc? Are they hosting the race?
Are all of these proceeds going to Leisure Hours to benifit the new track or is 3guys getting a cut also for their efforts.

Ive got to find time to get some practice at the new track before hand though, I havent ran my truck since the last Dirt Dawgs race :eek:
