Hey guys, I am looking to get a new truck to race at the new facility in joilet was wondering what your inputs where on these trucks. Please dont bid on them it will only make me have to pay more Smile

#1 revo --- Revo Roller

#2 revo -- REvo RTR

#3 Revo --- revo

#4 lsp --- LSP

I am also looking for Radio gear suggestions would be great.
#1...Looks like a decent deal w/ starter box

#2... getting pricey if reserve doesn't get met soon.

#3...Nice truck, but seller seems to have bad attitude and 0 (zero) feedback...I'd be cautious.

#4...Totally different catagory and budget, very nice set up depending on final price.

Just my $.02
I do like #1 and i asked what the reserve was for the lsp #4 he said 425 thats without radio and starter box, good deal yes/no?
I'd either go REVO 1 or LSP 4...
I think #4 is a serious deal IF the engine is in good shape!!!! ( And the head bolts are tight! Sorry inside joke)
Depending on final price your getting alot of stuff.... Extra tires,Parts and some race worthy upgrades..

But what the heck is that plastic thing bolted to the reaer chasssis brace?? Transponder mount???
No idea on the plastic thingy. The guy said the reserve is at 425 is it worth it?
If you are serious about racing id go with the LSP
if the engine is good id say its a good deal
See if he''ll end early for $425....
Waiting for response. What kind of starter would this truck take?
any 1/8th scale starter box would work. Team associated makes a good one as does Ofna
Cool thanks Smile
Still in a dilemma, what should i get a revo or an lsp. I had a revo loved it raced it and did really well with it, on the other hand the lsp is a great truck and is really fast, but i dont know to much about it. Should i stay with a truck that i know or try somthing diffrent. Is there going to be an unlimited class at the new track or are they going to put all the mt's and the unlimited trucks together like they did before at the old track?
im pretty sure that it will be a separate class, it all depends on the turnouts they get. No matter how fast u were with ur revo I think you will be faster with a LSP, UMT's are just like 1/8thscales. I think u would be better off savin some cash up and buying a new Jammin or maybe the St-1 or kyosho truggy. But if you dont wanna spend much go with the LSP.

You will probably find it easier to work on the LSP its bigger and its pretty simply setup
LSP for racing! Cool

+1
better yet, check out the new jammin truggy. It seems to turn alot sharper and needs less hopups out of box for full on racing. The LSP it great but needs more stuff initially to get the truck ready to take some abuse on the track.
jammin truggy is a little pricey. I did give my revo a good beating on the track,i just want to know if a truggy like an lsp or a jammin will take some abuse without breaking in the middle of a race.
Any r/c car is going to break... BUT IMO a truggy is going to be more durable than a standard mt... CMEB4DK has a LSP and put the most powerful engine in it and then drove like a manic all season and didnt break anything... So id say there tough trucks
After a couple of "gently used" Rc's I personally won't go eBay. If someone here was selling something I could look at and touch, I would buy used from this board only. Otherwise I will go new. EBay pictures just can't show you what you are getting.

I would look LSP new and upgrade it as it wears or $ave until I could afford a Hellfire or CRT (new).

There is my opinion, which is what you asked for, so nobody better jump my chit over what I said.

btw - that LSP is already over $425 so it's gonna sell....

The Jammin or LSP will hold up better than ur revo did, in most cases
No doubt the Jammin is a bit pricey but that's because it doesn't require a bunch of hop ups to compete at a national level, then again, only a few of us on this forum will be competing at a national level.

As for durability, I see a lot of LSP breakage and need for upgrades to compete at the top levels. I just don't think it's worth it. I realize that guys will try to defend the truck to save face but I think it's not the best price/performance ratio vehicle out there.

Until you drive either the LSP or Jammin, I dont see how you can compare one over the other. Not defending the LSP or the Jammin. But I dont think it's your place to criticize one or the other or make one seem better than the other since the only experience you have is hear say, or what you see on the track. Jammin has only been out how long ?????????
I've driven both.
