to late its 9
9:00 800 foot track. I haven't heard anyone say 600 but you... am I wrong?
to late, its 600
either 600 or we dont go at all, your choice?
All right I guess I'm down with the 600...
ok heres the details, they havent confirmed it set in stone yet but it should be about like this.....

grand prix racing friday night at 9pm. 3 20 lap qualifying rounds and a 30 lap main. The price will be 80 dollars a person. We will be racing on the 600 foot track due to the late notice of our reservation.
That's odd. I thought it was said earlier that they only take reservations the day of... oh well. should be fun.
The 800 footer is more fun. It's a faster track. 16-19s laps.

The the smaller one, you'll be lucky to pass anyone because of all the turns.

My opinion based on experience.
next time we'll do the 800, and dont worry about passing, im sure we can figure something out Wink
Way to go Tune...LOL

Now I am not going...............

I am kidding!!! I kid!!! I kid!!!
All the races are timed and your grouped into the final race based on standings. Just like rc.

You get a front, center, and rear spot (1 each for each qualifier). Helps make it fair since the guys in the back of the pack are at a huge dissadvantage to go fast.
everybody needs to be there an hour early. copied from there site

Drivers that have previously raced here must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled race time, while those that have not raced previously must arrive at least one hour ahead of their scheduled race time to ensure that they can complete the registration and briefing process prior to racing.
Yup, all you guys gotta watch the safety video Smile.

mich, I highly recommend you change it to the 800 footer. Trust me. High speed straight, chicane, hairpin, good stuff!!
I'm sorry that I can't join the ChiTown Karters for this event.
Next time let's have one at Dave & Busters in Addison.
$80 buys lots of beer and video racing there.
ok im filling out the contract now and the arrival time everyone needs to be there is by 8:45pm and have a valid drivers license on hand to show them. No drinking 8 hours before racing.
I htought we had to be there an hour before would nt that be 8
no on the contract is says check in time to fill out forms is 8:45 at the desk. When they say 9 that included an hour before hand and i wasnt aware of that.
And we still might have a shot at the 800foot track. They dont give you a track till the day of the event so theres a slight chance we can still get it.
Beg that girl to give us the 800 foot, or tell her you will call her everyday and ask a bunch of silly questions..

If that doesnt work, tell her you know Rocco
Begging women doesn't work. Find out if she prefers red wine or roses.

Not OR... AND, Red wine AND Roses. Seriously. Lets do whatever we need to to get that 800. Sounds like more fun and a better deal...
OK we have a reserved spot for friday at 9pm. We need to be there at 8:45 to sign the forms and then after that we get the safety talks and video's and all that crap. I say we meet there about 8:30 and maybe we can all convince them to get the 800 foot track.

Were doing the grand prix so 3 qualifying round and the main. After that we each get a 5 dollar certificate for food and drinks upstairs. Please show up on time and anybody that hasnt said they wanted to come speak up now so we can add you. We can still add people so if you still want to go feel free to speak up and let me know so i can tell them.
this is who's going

Rocco
Mich
George
John B
Rich
FreeRide- Dan
nice. I will be there early. Thanks for organizing this. :-)
Check to see at the kitchen will still be open when we are done, since we are running late. Bar will most likely be going, but the kitchen closes early (as far as I remember). I can't imagine the kitchen being up past 11pm, and will still be racing at that time.

If so, who would want to meet up at 7:30ish for a pre race dinner there. Food is good there.
