I think 2 weeks is really pushing it. It will be hard for most to get off of work and for some to get the cash. I saw we plan a bit farther ahead, something like 2nd or 3rd weekend in January. That would allow more people to plan, get off of work, and get cash together.

And Tommy I don't care if you are lighter than me... I wouldn't mind getting a penalty for spinning you out. I will just drive very hard into the turns... then wave bye bye.

this could be the begining of a beautiful relationship!!!!
I think weight plays in but not as much as you think... Just my opinion

Coming from the shortest guy that ended up wearing a 12XL or something like that. :bustingup If you look at the finishing order it was pretty much in order of weight. I think we were all pretty even driver skill wise.

i dont think im too dainty at 210lbs. mich doesnt look much over 150 if that. corner speed, staying off the brakes, taking smooth lines and not squealing the tires is the biggest factor. Those little motors dont have the HP to get you going again after a mistake. If they made us start from a dead stop the big boyz would have a huge disadvantage, but they dont.
Yea, thats true...So if you gotta big a$$ drive smooth i guess!!! :bustingup

This coming from the guy who couldnt close his visor due to his giant nose.... :bustingup

... Dan I think i weigh slightly more than you and i still kicked your ass. Nuff said ... MAAAAAAWWWHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

Ohh and if you didnt get enough on the track ill bring the cobra too next time and eat that bavarian cream puff!!!!!!

( Dan JUST RIBBIN YA BRO!)
I know... I can take it. I'll admit it... you whooped me. :-( and the cobra would too... but thats ok. Twas fun...

As for next time... I have about 4 people who would be cool to go the second or third weekend in january. Gives them enough time to save. What do ya think??
That might work... Will have to see
From what I was seeing. The Karts keep a lot of cornering speed when they are driven smoothly so the heavier weight guys didn't have much disadvantage if they drove smooth and clean. But deffinetely from what I saw when the heavier guys scrubed too much corner speed or spun it took longer to get going again.

I'm in for a Jan event.
Six, How did the vid come out??? Worth seeing ???
I would be that guy scrubbing speed... (With my knees wrapped around the steering wheel)
dunno how the vid came out.. I was just taking the video It was Kevins camera.
Ohh... Hey Kevin!!! Hows the Video!!!?!?!
its alright. after some editing and music it should be pretty good. Im trying to cut it to less than 10. theres 45min of footage. speed up the racen, slow down the dancen. I LMAO when George got his boobies pinched by rich, then continued to play with em while doing a little shake down.
I have a sick inlaw that I was helping this weekend, but im about half way done.
?? where can I host tihis thing? Tune, can you put it up on the site? Is there a size restriction or format perferred? i usally make my movies mpeg.
awesome... cant wait to see it. Will definitely need some road rage music though...
Post it post it!!!
SO if weight's a factor, handicap it, like horse racing, and throw some lead under the seat. Then it's a driver's race.
I'll sponsor my 13yr old to race next time. He loves karts and weighs about 90lbs.
Power steering in a kart? hmmmmmm...... and if I can get close enough to get a look at the governor on the engine.......mmmmmmooooohhhhhhaaaaahhhhhhaaaaa
too bad it's 18+, no power steering, and everything is bolted tight. I even looked at the throttle cable adjustment to see if I could get a little extra juice. It was tight. Rolleyes :joy:
After further review of the tape I finally figured out how I spun out 4 laps before the end of the main. DAN DAN DAN...what am i gona do with you. You did a little hack job and kept pretty quiet about it. Didnt want to loose that awsome tire deal, did ya? Alright, I got my eye on you. Mich's little helper
   :getsome: :getsome: :getsome:
I will need to see the video... I honestly have no idea what you are talking about. Whatever I did... sorry. Most likely wasn't intentional.
Im just messen with ya. It was all in fun. the hack cant stand to be hacked...lol. youll see soon
I know it was. Good times for sure. If I pulled some major "Strategic" move though I definitely want to see it. Do we have an ETA for the movie??
im tryen to put some songs together, then hopefully tune will host it on the site. a day or two
