holy shit mike you have a lot of paint.......not as much as my mom does though. lol
Mike, you need one of those retail racks for all that paint!

I like how you have the area painted white....that has to make it easier to see what you are doing. I use a white drop cloth to cover the bench so I can see what's going on.

40 bodies. You must own the basement of your house with this little business of yours. Have you moved your bed down there?
That's crazy.

I had some trouble trying to upload pictures the last couple times I tried.
Working fine today.

My weekend ride....

wow that is one nice boat, u probebly need a semi truck to pull it
What do those boats need such a long nose for? Keep it from flipping over at however fast it goes? I know you can't sit/lay up there when it is at full throttle.

I wouldn't know. I just tell them when and where I want it in the water and it magically is ready when I get there. Big Grin

btw....in case you don't know me........no way that's my boat.
The long nose helps them go 80mph in water.
it helps with cutting through the water and air so they can go 80 mph with out flipping
LOL thats what 215 bottles of paint looks like....and Dave the white area isnt white anymore since i got bored and painted skulls all over the work bench hahahaaha
think about if the front instead of a nose was just like a big flat wall.. lets say the boat is a rectangle shapoe then when your going 80mph the wind woul hit the flat end and either slow it down tremedously or it would flip the boat......but if you have a nose then it cuts through the air
it makes it more stable at high speed, the same reason drag cars are long and narrow.

Bored? When do you have time to be bored?
Skull practice is cool...you can always paint over it next time you have white in the brush....

215 x $4.29 =

I KNOW, you get a deal from a guy....
I thought it was just to make it stable.

That's a lot of money in paint.
Smile lol and i need some more im outta white
Mike, stupid question here (my specialty) since you use Rusty crystal clear enamal as a sealer, could you use Rusty white as a sealer and backcoat, all in one pass?
you could as long as you get the gloss. The rusty white that i was using didnt have the glossy protective finish. but yes that is a good cheap way to back bodies in white

sorry no new pics, just finished the bodies but i gotta go to baseball so i should have some up tonight
Thanks!
